The Igbo Speaking Community in Lagos State has called on the state governor, Barrister Babatunde Raji Fashola to give political appointments to its in the new dispensation. The group which made this request at a forum in Lagos also pledged cooperation with the Fashola-led istration. It called on the new governor to follow the footstep of the former governor, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, by giving political appointments to Igbos in the state. The group, led by Chief Chris Ekwilo, called on the Fashola istration to empower the community to take care of Igbos at the grassroots. |
