From DM "Please I Need Advice From People In Abuja. Am Depressed!

Please 🥺 I need advice. Since I graduated from University of Benin in 2011, I have not had a good job. I also have a Masters degree from same Uni. I reside in Warri in Delta State. I also own a diploma in theology, that means have been to bible school. Have been teaching in different private schools since 2011.

I am 34 now will be 35 in few months time. Lots of people are putting pressure on me to get married but I am scared I can't sustain a family with my meagre private school teacher's salary. I am considering relocating to Abuja to see if I could get a better life with my credentials. I don't know how life really is over there? If I could get a better job? even if it's a good private school that pays well.
What's the cost of accommodation? just trying to take a leap of faith. Though it seems late, but better late than never. I just feel a change in environment would be better because help is not forth coming from anywhere. I could also work as a pastor in a church if I can get accommodation.

Someone please help me I need counsel. Thank you in anticipation 🙏. I have been thinking 🤔 too much lately. Seems like am running out of time cos most of my mates are already married and settled. Help a brother, Esan by tribe but born and brought up in Warri. I am currently like a burden to my aged parents right now because I still live with them and feed from them. I have savings of up to 150k.

Keep the advice coming please. Should I just rent a small house in Warri and be managing things or I should relocate to Abuja ? Or even Lagos? I know I am brilliant because I graduated with a second class upper grade with a 4. Point CGPA in biochemistry. I can speak fluently and can defend my certificate but have not been really lucky with jobs. Pressure is part of life especially when you are close or above his age

Japa no easy self ask those that have gone and they would tell you how much they have spent.

My neighbors pay 45k,agent fee 5k.
The number of northern people in the south cannot match the number of southerners her . A whole local government where Sabon gari is are southerns here in Kano..you hardly find a northerner there.This is not a blind post!

Even those in the capital city of maiduguri would be surprised there's this much going on in the north. I mean if the north was sooooo bad why wasn't there any news of violence and killings during this extra-chaotic election? Pls say only what you know. Don't relocate, don't buckle under the pressure. Learn some programming skills (e.g., python and Matlab), develop a portfolio, rewrite and publish your masters dissertation with your supervisor, apply for PhD positions in Europe later this year. Thank me next year.
