The Akpabio-led gavel wielding corrupt senate have not said the "the ayes have it" yet. So senator you can continue to they whine yourself with illusory promises helinues:I am not a bloody hypocrite as you are. You are very warped as always out to justify any pain, hardship, affliction or oppression of government. Meanwhile, to help massage your misplaced ego, here is even my stand when LP lawmakers accepted exotic foreign SUVs from the catastrophic government of your demigod; Racoon: 36 Likes 6 Shares |

Do the do and stop talking. You don't need to consult us to do what is right. Who did you consult before changing the national anthem to the old one. Reduce your salaries and allowances and publish it so that we can believe. Place yourselves on the same minimum wage as all other civil servants. Are directors not on minimum wage? Senators too should be on minimum wage. Everybody should be on minimum wage.

When the law makers realize their outrageous salary contributes to inflation and willing to cut them to median wage, nothing will happen. Do the maths, how much of political office holder is left if they pay even 70k minimum wage |

Labour should be watchful, they should be having secret meetings before the outcome of the announcement of the minimum wage so that they won't be caught unawares. Fear this evil government. Labour must give them tit for tat

The bill for a new minimum wage has not been sent to the National Assembly. I hope the APC senators, who are rubber stamp, will agree with this opposition Senator when the bill is sent to them.

helinues: O helinues! ![]() Whether he's sincere or not, he has clearly shown that: - He acknowledges there is hardship in the land - He feels the pain of and empathizes with the citizens unlike those who still live in denial just because of politics - He has publicly acknowledged that their pay is too bogus and if reduced, the excess could be used to pay Nigerian workers. Tinubu, being an ant, People who are believed to be frugal and judicious in managing resources, he should have done this but rather doing the opposite 6 Likes |
