This man didn't listen, he ran after the snake. Unlucky for him, he stepped aon a wood and the wood broke and caused him a big avulsion injury, a large chunk of his muscle was pulled opened. When he got to the hospital, he was already weak, we had to rush him 1.5 litres of IV fluid.

My point is, if it's not causing any direct harm, let it be!!!

You're right. It happened in Imo State about 20 years ago, the corper killed a phyton in their camp, the villagers went berserk, they reported it, unknown corper did it at the end of the day. They ate the phyton of course.

Asia and Australia both boast the greatest diversity of species of monitor lizards.
Ornate monitor lizard, is vaguely similar in colouration to the rock monitor, also native to Africa.
All African monitor lizards are venomous like nearly all others of their cousins found elsewhere in Asia, Australia,New Guinea, Solomon Islands.
