OP, it isn't even as simple as you write. It is evolution, that no one can stop, dealing with the North. Empires fall, intolerant dictators (something the North ca be described as politically) and imperialists (another fitting alias for North) will eventually be defeated.

Even Nigerians, all focused on 2027 and the Presidential system, are fooling themselves because they are not seeing what is obvious.

The game changed for all Northerners when Tinubu "singlehandedly" and "openly" challenged Buhari because most of them including Buhari were "antagonistic" towards Tinubu and his mandate but they failed woefully.
