why do you think tinubu is throwing money at politicians in the first place?

is it because you think he wants them to use the money for public service?

He probably gave them for 2 reasons; firstly, you chop where you work. Secondly, do something for your people so that you can either be ed or re-elected.

But I have to say something you already know (because I can see some brilliant reasoning in your question) These reps knows that there's nothing they will do for the masses that will be appreciated, so they just do what they like and share among their friends and keep the rest. They don't care about masses anymore. I stand to be corrected though.

This is obviously a serious matter.

This federal government will amount to a huge fraud if it pays each senator #2b and each Rep. #1b

We have 109 senators, that means 109x#2b = #218b per year

Rep. 360 @#1b = #360b per year
Total of #578b per year excluding allowances
All put together may amount to 1trn.

I doubt if it is feasible, but with APC were snakes and monkeys swallowed money anything fraudulent is possible no matter how odd it sounds.

However I keep my fingers crossed, because that may actually be the reason why nothing is going well in this tinubu government and everyone is running to the looting.

God will deliver us from APC and tinubu.

Since you can't hold your governor, state house of assembly , house of reps, local government chairmen and councillors able; is it Tinubu you will be able to reach? Let's ask ourselves such questions so that we can move forward. Abi our complaints will reach Tinubu?

...na the person wey remove subsidy on fuel and the naira wey everybody dey use hold body and decide to pack am give few executive and reps Nigerians go still hold.

Wonderful
This is the reason why they’re all running to APC because the 1bn they’re receiving, they’re not using it to supervise a single project. Corruption weldone
..this is why during election they will find every means to rig the election to favour them..hire thugs to snatch ballot boxes and destroy polling units and chase away voters that want to vote against them..they do all of these to desperately win election illegally..it's a pity
Franking: 3:56pm On May 15
And there, ladies and gentlemen, is the corruption itself. Expunge it and the fight against corruption will really gather momentum.

If this continues unabated then corruption will continue to thrive.
Teymanhenry(f): 4:04pm On May 15
He did this knowing fully well that these men will not execute the projects yet he chose to remove subsidy. All these are done at the expense of the innocent masses
Pacesetter123(m): 4:11pm On May 15
So our presido removed the subsidy, and instead of using the money to build government refineries to boost local production to reduce fuel pump price to make lives easier for the citizens,he use the money to share as a national cake to the governors and Federal Lawmakers?

Uwoooh,wonders shall never end!
Somebody like my HoR member, since 2023 that he was voted in,till today, nobody carry eyes like this see him for the community.
My senator,ewoooi,that one,nah Abuja based.
Ohh,the aim of subsidy removal has totally been defeated.

The question is, how many senators, governor's or HOR are easily accessible to be questioned?

They're all devils, including the person who allocated the funds

tinubu cant give them for the two reasons you stated because the two reasons you gave are two sides of a coin. its either one of the reasons or the other. it begs the question...which work have the legislators been doing with all the constituency project money they have been receiving?

I dont already know what it is you are saying.

what exactly is the job of legislators as enshrined in the constitution?

can you state anywhere it is stated in the constitution that a legislator is supposed to do his job on the condition that he or she is appreciated by the electorate or constituents?

is the legislator doing the citizens a favour that if he is not appreciated then he now takes public and use for personal purpose?

is there provision in the constitution for legislators to use public funds for personal use because they are not appreciated by their constituents?

President Tinubu has done the needful by given them enough money for projects, what is wrong if the president hold each an everyone of them responsible for executing the projects the said money is meant for......??

Tinubu lacks the power to do that. It is for the people of the constituency to hold their representatives able for all the money their leaders have been collecting.

Jaylord12:

Bro you are right but he has the power to help....
@ the end of the day the people will still blame the president

Unfortunately, there's no way he can help. He has done his bit, let the people do theirs.

Firstly, you should learn to drive your point without attacking anyone that doesn't your ideology.
You should know that it's the duty of the masses to hold all our political office holders able. Anyways, thank you for your opinion.

And one is still finding it difficult to do common potholes in his constituency that people has been begging him for but he can share rice and eggs during the last salah. You need to see how people were thanking this particular senator I'm talking about on radio. One senator from another constituency wanted to help for the potholes but they stopped him. They said it's not his constituency, and that he wanted to do it because he's eyeing the governorship seat.

This is Kano state right. grin grin

It's highly unfortunate that Nigerian leadership prefers to rod millions to pay few in the name of oil subsidy removal.
Instead of increasing IGR to pay the Governors and federal lawmakers more why not save the masses by using the money to build state owned refineries and save subsidy removal hardship..

why are the masses waiting for govt to build refineries? Did dangote wait?
