Undisputed fact regardless of the current hardship. Kudos JAGABAN
Regardless of the current hardship. What then is the progress?
What concerns the people with paying of IMF loan?
From our Ecomics, any progress that impacts negatively to the people is useless and not worth embarking on.

The root cause of poverty is social injustice and the bad government that abets it.......COLIN POWEL

calls the increase in the cost of living a bump! it was more like a meteoritic rise cos you "bumped" everything up at the same time without "bumping" up the earning potential of the citizens.

Your aim was to "bump" up revenue by saving on the social benefits Nigerians derived. Granted, in the FCT we are seeing tremendous use of revenue to save us time wasted in traffic and repair costs to our vehicles from bad roads BUT the trade-off is that rents are "bumping" up too! No policy to arrest this and income is pretty much stagnant.

In other states, you have put more money in the hands of governors but with all of the defecting to your party, can you actually open up any investigation if they do not put all this money to use for the people?

Sir, you have done this and you are also destroying the country by turning it to a one-party state. Soon the senate will sponsor a bill to turn Nigeria to a parliamentary system cos the way you are going...there will be no opposition which is not good for democracy.

All the best

In the exchange rate or insecurity?
Or cost of food?
Or cost of fuel?

Mr President, Nigerians need to be able to feed and buy food cheaply. Food and Agricultural produce should be the cheapest thing in Nigeria. The prices of food need to reduce further. Cheers.

Who is really deceiving Tinubu? Or is he naturally cruel and wicked?
Many children are malnourished, protein is out of the reach to many households.
Chaos here and there in the neighborhood.. Families has been tored apart due to inability of husbands to provide as usual.
1000n cannot feed and infant for a day.
5000n cannot make a manageable soup for bachelor's.
Ironically, the same president who supposed to know better about the welfare of it's citizens is here praising and hailing himself for failures

Tinubu should be using the power in his hands now to launch an Agricultural revolution in the southwest of Nigeria. The Southwest can become the food belt of Nigeria. We have the land and man power to achieve that. The North should not be allowed to dominate in food production. Cheers.

Tinubu is an empty brain looter who only borrow to deceive his daft followers. You and Buhari are the disgrace of the century. Plunging Nigeria into an eternal debt while looting their future. It's a SHAME

Buhari is even thousands times better than this OTP, One Term President in'sha'a'ALLAH.

Only his kinmen, the Yorubas that will vote him 2027.

This is true sha, even though the progress is greatly exaggerated.
What is true?
The man is just deceiving himself, as for his followers the are living in delusion, suffering, seeing monumental poverty, heavy decline of their purchasing power yet chose to believe in his failed policies aka reforms. How can he say achievement has been made when businesses are closed daily, non conducive environment, has the quality of life of you and I improved in any facet? Families are been broken because husbands come home weekly or worse still monthly due to high cost of commute, even upper class Nigerians will never know what a new car smells like not to talk of middle class. A $2500 scrap 25 year old car will cost a Nigerian minimum of N10m to purchase. Two years ago ticket for two flying Qatar was 900k, today it is 4m and this baba has the guts to say progress is been made? Yes progress in his family and close political associates maybe.
As my favorite quote from OBJ goes, if a farmer plants 10 heaps of corm and claims to have planted 50 heaps, on the day of harvest, he will harvest 10 heaps and 40 lies.

Na only food we go chop? No wonder he spoke with a dismissive wave of the hand that all the youths need is cassava, ewa, beans and doodooo..
Well look at humans, when left with nothing, they revert back to the basic animal needs which is food. Lion, dog, cat, monkey etc all they live life for is food. Instinct is to fill the belly. Lol.

Where are the CNG busses that were supposed to play a vital role in easing the sufferings of the masses? Where are the CNG stations? Plants? Where are the food banks? Where are the economic gains of subsidy removal and naira devaluation that we were promised? Where are the foreign investors? Isn't it preposterous that Bola Tinubus biggest project in a sunken economy is a gargantuan road project that is merely just a newer duplicate of the existing road network? How is a coastal highway going to improve the lives of over 200 million people?

All you've done is tax us to death!
Effect of subsidy removal

Increase in state and local allocation
Increase in constituency project fund
Student loan
Free technical colleges with 45,000 as stipends
Paid legacy debt of past government from Obasanjo
Increase minimum wage from 33k ton70k
Paid ASUU and thus no strike for 2 years( first time ever)
CNG was to be driven by Private companies, if you are intrested, visit PiCNG office. Equipment will be subsidized and zero levy on shipment.
Along Iyano iworo to mowe Ibafo, a lot of Public transport has been converted.
More companies are showing interest to establish,(more 257 CNG centre coming on board).
Completion of East west road.
Improved electricity at least 20hrs per day except you owe or faulty transformer.
Lagos calabar, Sokoto badagry among others.
I traveled from Lagos to Ibadan, no single porthole.

Make we talk true, the man dey try

Allow people to say their mind freely stop bullying people over their choices stop it. Tinubu might not be good for you but good for someone else so don't force anybody into your own choice, stop it.

President Bola Tinubu’s self-congratulatory anniversary statement is a masterclass in gaslighting, a desperate attempt to mask two years of economic hardship,
broken promises,
and democratic backsliding with hollow rhetoric.

Here’s a reality check:

Campaign Promises vs. Brutal Reality

In 2023, Tinubu pledged to grow the economy by 6% annually, create one million jobs, and unify the exchange rate. Two years later, GDP growth lingers at 3.4%, inflation remains at a staggering 24%, and the naira has lost significant value. The promised job boom? Nonexistent. Instead, Nigerians face soaring food prices and a cost-of-living crisis exacerbated by abrupt subsidy removals and currency devaluation.

Foreign Investment: All Talk, No Traction

Tinubu boasts of attracting $50 billion in foreign investments through over 30 international trips. Yet, tangible results are elusive. Major corporations like Diageo are divesting due to economic instability, and the much-touted investments have yet to materialize into real economic benefits for Nigerians.

Anti-Corruption: A Hollow Crusade

Despite loud proclamations of fighting corruption, Tinubu’s istration has shown little action. High-profile cases remain untouched, and there’s a conspicuous absence of significant prosecutions. The anti-corruption stance appears more performative than substantive.

Silencing Dissent: Democracy Under Siege

Under Tinubu, Nigeria’s democratic space has shrunk alarmingly. Critics face intimidation, and dissenting voices are suppressed. The banning of a song critical of the president underscores the istration’s intolerance for opposition.

Economic Mismanagement: A Nation in Distress

Tinubu’s economic policies have led to increased borrowing, with a recent request for $21.5 billion in external loans. This, coupled with high inflation and currency devaluation, has plunged more Nigerians into poverty. The istration’s handling of the economy reflects a disconnect from the struggles of ordinary citizens.

A Presidency of Broken Promises

Tinubu’s two years in office have been marked by unmet promises, economic hardship, and democratic erosion. The grandiose claims in his anniversary statement ring hollow against the lived realities of Nigerians. It’s time for ability and a leadership that truly serves the people.

The tinubu government is a failed government

APC mindless ers will be cheering this meatless report like hyenas. The strategy of the APC led government is to destroy the existing profitable infrastructure, worsen those that need improvement, blame the previous istrations for their cluelessness, make pretentious and half-witted attempts at restoring the economy they destroyed without remorse, praise themselves for the audio improvement they have achieved knowing they will be applauded by their thinkless, mindless ers with Reno being the chief mindless er.

Lolzzzzz, typical Yoruba man....always wants everything to be for himself. That's the only reason you guys this man despite knowing he's failing as president. Unfortunately for you guys tinubu cares only about himself and his cronies while the rest of Yorubas and Nigerians can go to hell.
This isn't an insult o, but it's the actual truth. Since he came to power, how has he benefitted the average Yoruba man on the streets? We're all in this shit together 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
