I wanna start programming next year and I want to know the laptop I will get coz I just realize that not all laptops can do programming.

Any laptop can be used to write a program as long as its at least 2gig ram n 1.8ghz processor.

I can write a simple laravel web app for you on a 20 leaves jotter sef.

As far as you can type on the laptop..

Even if compiler doesn't install, you can use online compilers

What's your budget? If you want to start with web development (php/node.js/general javascript). A regular laptop with 4GB RAM and a minimum of Intel Pentium(R) process will be more than ok.

Avoid Older Amd processors. Even if it's QBASIC you intend to learn.

That's hard. Most of laptops on jumia are expensive and with specs that don't make much sense. But if you can find HP 2000 for less than 90k brand new, it will be a good deal.
Second hard around 45-52k, not bad.

YES you can. Make sure it's not the Amd edition. Check it to see if there is intel logo on it.

About studying computer science, you don't need a certificate to be a programmer. So if you have ion for the other stuff too you can continue with it.

Any laptop can serve except if u want to design phone app, then u will be needing android studio . If u use mini laptop for android studio ur system will cry (literally). Even on normal 2gig ram system , your system will likely hang if u start up the AVD. But u can avoid the problem by ing alternative virtual device like gene motion.

Yes... 120k can do. The system am using was 83k at the beginning of buhari era and it served well. Although it's about 120k now

If u can afford a better one good, but that is what am using. And it's d cheapest HP I saw in the market

Don't just buy a system because it is called hp 15 sha. Look at the specs. Like I stated earlier, stay away from amd and Intel celeron processors.

hp 15 not a good laptop. don't waste your money buying it. I am an engineer and I can tell you that there are fake hp15 in the market. even if you are buying it, make sure you go with someone who knows computer hardware very well. but I will never recommend hp 15 for anybody.

You didn't state the RAM, But I guessing it's over 3GB. It's good to go. You can even use it for android development.
