Kano Pillars force Super Eagles to a 2-2 draw Glo League Champions, Kano Pillars this morning forced the Super Eagles team preparing for CHAN Tournament to a 2-2 draw at the National Stadium, Abuja. The match which was described as the toughest for the team in all their friendly games saw the Super Eagles bring out their best in the game and scored first through Abubakar Aliyu. Pillars did not waste time to come back into the game and they were rewarded with a goal by Bello Koformata. [b]Rabiu Ali [/b]who inceidentally plays for Kano Pillars got the second through a penalty for the Super Eagles, before Koformata completed his brace. In the second half, the tywo teams tried to increase the tally, but the game ended 2-2. Super Eagles media officer, Ben Alaiya said it was a good game and the Kano side gave the National Team a good game. “This is the type of game that will toughen the team for the task ahead. u guyz have 4gotten dis guys are home based.They played the league champions so it's a fair result.It's not like they would be playing players from europe in the chan.its still homebased from other countries.
