The Lagos state governor, Dr Akinwunmi Ambode, today presented the 2018 Budget today at the Chambers of the Lagos State House of Assembly. The proposed budget christened ‘Budget of Progress and Development’ has a size of N1, 046,121,181,680 (N1, 046tn).

This budget has something for everyone; young and old, man or woman, including the physically challenged in line with our vision of making Lagos work for all. We shall make massive investments in infrastructural development, power, transportation/traffic management healthcare, security, education, food security, women & youth empowerment, and general public service.

All eyes on Lagos and Cross River, they currently have the highest states budgets in Nigeria.

Lagos is dirtier under Ambode...Hope a substantial of this budget will be used in clearing the huge refuse dumps littering the Centre of Excellence

A result of 18 years of progressive Govt, starting from Tinubu in 1999.
Compare that with 10% of Capital budget under PDP .
Now under an APC Govt, it is 30% Capital with plan to increase.
18 Years of APC leadership will see Nigeria closing the gap with Lagos state.
