Connect or no connect. So far your name came out on this list, then it's something to be hopeful for. If out of the 174k that applied, you made the 3,500 list, then you've tried.
I knew no one, and I've been fortunate to make the list. God's grace played out for me.
The only issue here is advert was placed for 3,200 vacancies, 3,500 was shortlisted.
The screening will be to check applicants credentials for correctness and consistency.
If you're sure of your certificate and age issue, then just pray and be assure you got the job already.
I believed after screening out people with irregularities, the number would drop down to the intended 3,200..so Goodluck over the last lap.

not true. basic is around 180k

true. that is with the recent increase in minimum wage and review.

it was around 140 before.

but now there are some allowances in batches around 300k-500 yearly

The shortlisted candidates are getting agitated because reality has it that this is not the last list ....una no need am na. Last list or no last list, its your own that should be your focus. If ur believe is in ur connect, then hold him well to ensure ur enlistment into training; if God is ur hope then pray hard and continue to exercise faith to ensure ur positive smile at the end of the exercise.
Many shortlisted for this screening will still find their way to training, many in spite of meeting up with screening recommendation will not be absorbed for training, many not shortlisted for this screening will still be mailed for training.

So, by implication, shift ur focus from "this is the last list". It's not true and that shouldn't be ur problem.

I have an elder brother who graduated 6 years ago with a first in electrical engineering, he obtained his msc from Ukraine, since then he has been less fortunate with jobs, all efforts to nail a good job prove abortive. He is underpaid where he is working now as programmer. my issue now is, I don't know if it will be possible to give him my credentials to embark on NCS screening since it is not doctored? the guy in question looks so much alike with me, would it be possible for him to take over my position without after him in the service since I have moved on for something else?

You are smart in reading between the lines .Although if you present forged certificates you are out.Well you have yourself to blame. Being on the list is like 99% loading. Anything that happens after is on that candidate.

Ain't an officer, but had sm1 wu has gone 2hru d process in time past, he spoke abt hw sm of dose in charge of d screening cud be mean wen it comes 2 evaluation of candidates credentials.

Get all your original certificates both waec and Bachelors degree. If you can't get original after two years of this custom process, it will be a good reason to disqualify.
