VEE2010: Nope. She had many chances in the past to learn when she was a child that you should not be rude. She is now an adult. She has to face adult consequences. 6 Likes |

She should sue the school. What's d punishment for the lecturer? As far as what happened was two fighting, the punishment can't be one sided. |

Hmmm .... is that the photo of the student? .. or lecturer? If the student ... then I can understand... the lecturer should know to respect his elders space.

This is too small she should not be accepted in any university in Africa not on in Nigeria

Babangidapikin: If she tries to play hardball she will be burned in the end because the lecturers will mark her out for victimization and she may never graduate. It's better she cuts her losses and moves on because as it is no serious university may want to accept her considering her now notorious status and if she eventually graduates which firm would risk taking her with this level of notoriety? She should make an apology video where she apologizes to the Lecturer, the entire department, the school and to other Nigerians who felt rightfully irritated by her actions and move on. Nigerians are easily forgiving. Playing hardball will burn her down even further. 13 Likes 1 Share |

Sharpsharp00123:Exactly what I'm saying. Just like the politicians are older than some people's father. If their father steals at home, is that how they'd publicly report the father to 'efcc' and ensure their father rots in jail? Exactly what I'm saying. Just like the young man lecturer is somebody's father at home, the politicians are some people's fathers at home, let them be. The society is representative of the majority of the people in it --- all the people strongly condemning the lady and strongly justifying the lecturer, except some great leaders show up. But thinking about it, which person would want to be so extremely helpful to an evil nation anymore, when social media has exposed the majority? |
SUPERPACK: 2:30pm On Feb 14 |
OneOnland:The expulsion was not only because of the assault on the lecturer but the fact that the lady was unapologetic to her action. Even when students were telling her that the man he was heating is a lecturer she refused to let go of him. She even stood her ground because her mum was also a senior lecturer in the school. It's left for her to appeal the school senate judgement and seek for a suspension or drop a session as punishment. But regardless her stay in that school is a danger, all lecturers will now hunt her by all means because this is a fight against all. I will voluntarily drop out than stay back. 8 Likes 1 Share |

This shows our instructions still value morals. In a flip side of the coins, if a content creator can use this opportunity to pick her up, nurture her, and let the people see that she's undergoing a rehabilitation, such risk taker will cash out. As we like good things, we don't utterly castigate people because they could change for good tomorrow. 1 Like |

Teachers have a natural immunity in the school environment. You can’t afford to enforce a right of way or parking space with a lecturer. If he demands a video deleted, you should do so graciously. And with an apology. When you are in a school environment, discipline and composure is key. That’s why you graduate in character and learning. The girl has no defense whatsoever. She should be currently pleading for leniency and showing total remorse 7 Likes |

OneOnland: Why are you people like this? ![]() Assaulting a member of staff is grounds for refusal of service in any organisation in any part of the world. The uni has just done the same thing, she assaulted a member of staff and she has been refused any further service. Why must you be a contrarian? 4 Likes 1 Share |

She should be charged and prosecuted for aggravated assault and bodily injury. There must be consequences for actions otherwise no deterrent and no justice 1 Like |

SUPERPACK:Well, it appears you have great points. I'd dispute this though: Even when students were telling her that the man he was heating is a lecturer she refused to let go of him.The lecturer held her hands as she continued to fight him to let go of her. And the lecturer also made statement that he held her two hands, he claimed, to prevent her from leaving. |

I know she's wrong and her actions against the lecturer isn't justified. But expulsion is too harsh as a punishment for her. When punishment should be done with the intent to correct and not to destroy. This punishment has the tendency of making her worse in character and destroy whatever potential she has.
