Dangote, Ahaneku, Maduka Congratulate Esimone on Public Servant of the Year Award

Prominent Nigerians including Aliko Dangote, Prof. J.E. Ahaneku, and Dr. Godwin Maduka, have congratulated Prof. Charles Okechukwu Esimone on his well-deserved recognition as the Public Servant of the Year.

Prof. Esimone, a renowned Professor of Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Microbiology, is the immediate past Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka Anambra State.

He was honored over the weekend as the Public Servant of the Year at the just concluded Anambra Man of the Year (AMTY) Award for his exceptional contributions and achievements as Vice-Chancellor of the Institution.

For instance Esimone moved the institution from 4000 position to number 1000 position in the world university ranking and attracted over 200m Dollars to the university.

The award ceremony took place at the Stanel Dome in Awka, Anambra State and was attended by high profile people including the Chairman, Keystone Bank, Lady Ada Chukwudozie, MD, Falcon Corporation, Prof Joe Ezigbo, GMD Segofs Energy Group, Engr Barth Nwibe and others.

In a congratulatory message, Africa' s richest man ,Aliko Dangote expressed his immense joy and pride in Prof. Esimone's achievement, highlighting his dedication, leadership, and contributions to society.

Similarly, Esimone's predecessor, Prof. Joseph Ahaneku praised him for his outstanding service and transformative impact on Nnamdi Azikiwe University.

Founder of Las Vegas Pain Institute and former Governorship Candidate in Anambra State, Dr Godwin Maduka described Esimone as a global icon. He said "Prof Esimone is an excellent
Public Servant with an impeccable track record.
He is a global icon who transformed UNIZIK into a world class
university".
