It is long overdue. Oju as a local government has no single federal government presence. This is a welcome development and I pray it scales through. My people deserve this

They have turned establishment of federal university to means to score political cheap points and gain votes Eg the one situated in southern Kaduna The existing ones are poorly equipped, poorly managed, poorly financed Even students can't afford them again This satanic apc tinubu government just want to finish everything about nigeria patapata It will not be well with tinubu apc er on nairaland 4 Likes |

these politicians dont think they only do, they just care about getting money to embezzle via projects like this, they will jack up the budget steal their percentage, build the university and then allow it rot. Zocalite: 2 Likes |

God1000: See shallow thinking Which development, you think we are in 1980s With the proliferation of university federal, state, private everywhere Do you know how much is school fees, accommodation, feeding now You think it's like before where you will be roaming different schools to gain ission, go and check jamb criteria now Who will waste money to go bush to study, go and check the areas of the previously established ones 1 Like |

Which road will they use to and go to Oju? No road leads there. What is called road to Oju is the worst of such in Nigeria.

This is a welcome development. Biomedical Engineering is a very good course. During my time, after rounding off my National Diploma in Biomedical Engineering Technology, I was among those that serviced and repaired some of those Dental chairs in one of the federal teaching hospitals. We even go as far as installing one new hospital equipment sterilising machine and one big X-ray machine. The experiences I had at the time, had been great memories for me over the years. So, this is well welcome development. They should extend it to more other states and it will be a win win for all. 1 Like 1 Share |

The unprecedented way universities and other tertiary institutions are sprouting like mushrooms on a daily basis shows the focus the Tinubu istration has for an enlightened society with the potential of producing critical manpower that are required to launch Nigeria into the global new age. However, let the FG not bite more than it can chew! These institutions require humongous sums not only for their takeoff but for their continued sustenance and sustainability. If the funds are readily available then, the FG is on the right track. @hotseat 1 Like |

jossytech: Don't mind those id!ots. They don't feel concerned about millions of graduates roaming the streets doing little to nothing. Right now, there's a trending news of a young graduate girl that got killed in the hands of gunmen that had kidnapped her in line of her land agent hustle. No jobs anywhere. All their bill is about establishing universities and taking from the people. 2 Likes |

doggedfighter: Sometimes, I blame the people. I blame the parents too. We are supposed to boycott the so-called university because I don't see any sense in it again. I graduated in 2014. Years have ed and I've not had a job with that certificate in this country. It's only my personal hustle that I've been using to survive and it has nothing to do with the course I studied. Nigerian universities doesn't make sense any longer. Instead, it compounds our problems because when you sit to reflect on the years you wasted in school, hoping you'll get a job after graduation, it makes you feel real bad. 2 Likes |

Those oju people are backward academically. In fact those guys hardly further their education. Very uncivilised people. But they can be very handsome and beautiful. And I don't know why. Their girls like names such as hope Sarah Charity Monica Theresa |
