So... is Nigeria in favor of foreign solar equipments or not, abi was it not these same morons that banned (or wanted to) foreign solar equipments in favor of locally made that do not exist? Nonsense upon ingredient! Solar power is not news. We know what it is. Stop parading mediocre things like you have come up with a brilliant masterplan. That's how some fools will build a random set of buildings and plaster a big banner declaring it "ULTRAMODERN MARKET" |

OluwatobiJoshua: The reason why I won't doubt this news is that most Public primary/secondary schools in Lagos have been running on solar for years already. Pictures like the one I have attached is very common in secondary schools in Lagos which is Tinubu's brain-child. So it's unfair to start doubting without you trying to because it is what Tinubu was doing in Lagos stare. In fact, Tinubu as governor built power generation in Egbin but Obasanjo did not allow him to distribute. He had to agree to feed it to the national grid and Lagos would get a share of the proceeds. Obasanjo never gave Tinubu a dime. If you know, you know.

It's not just the installation, the maintenance is more important because we have this attitude of neglecting govt infrastructures believing if e spoil we go erect another one

Collapse of national grid imminent. Aso Rock, Universities, teaching hospitals, states secretariats and govts going solar and these are the biggest customers of DISCOs. This means less revenue for DISCOs, it means DISCOs also buying less energy from GENCOs, it means GENCOs running at a loss. If you are running a business at loss, it is just a matter of time before the business collapses. So, our govts can't pay the outrageous energy bills but expect the Nigerian masses to continue paying 1 Like |
