Which prison will accommodate over 120 million Nigerians? if you jail just 30% of the workforce, how will you run the economy? always bringing up laws that are unrealistic.

A useless bill that is not enforceable this APC government is just playing on the psychology of Nigerians making us believe under democracy they can force tyranny and evil forms on control on us to induce fear like north Korea can they jail more than half of the population of Nigerians that don't usually vote this government is totally brainless

Agbakoba on point on this. You can't force me to vote sorry dead on arrival. Voting is my legimate right and I have full right to choose neutrality or not so you can not force voting on me sorry Mr Jobless National Assembly. Despite my stand on this topic, it is either Tinubu in 2027 or nothing. 4+4=8 1 Like |

Unless we are not practicing democracy but communism, there's no way you will have to force people to vote against their wish, impossible. Voting is voluntary in democracy. Our National assembly should rather make laws that will make voting attractive to citizens instead of forcing them. 3 Likes |

Yes I agreed with you sir, I will rather follow suit than forced to vote when I know that my voting will not count nor make sense. Let those that steal the ballot continue to do so and continue to declare themselves winners. I have lost hope on Nigeria electoral system.

libertyfather: Stop using "we" for yourself. Human beings are fickle and will do whatever they want to do. Some of those shouting against Tinubu will still vote APC when left alone with ballot paper |

Since the foolish lawmakers have nothing meaningful to do they resort to immateriality. Why not anti corruption bill and make the death penalty a punishment for corruption? Nay. Crooks that are more interested in the coming elections.

I think Nigeria and Nigerians are a cause to themselves, until when the citizens wake up and confront these stupid politicians and leaders of theirs, these Nation Assembly will not make compulsory laws on good governance rights and things that will benefit and Better the lives of common citizens,it's a law that will make voting compulsory that's their main problem. What a country and system, the people are poor hungry and impoverished.its this stupid law that is of more importance to the National Assembly. What a crazy system |
LordReed(m): 8:31am On May 20 |
Maxymilliano: It's an absurd law. Of what benefit would it be to the state to incarcerated otherwise productive of society simply for not exercising their rights? That is just senseless. |

I will not vote period

CaptainFM1: 8:32am On May 20 |
I would rather thumb at the back of the ballot rather than vote for any further elections in the country. Useless people. They will not address election integrity. It is people that did not vote that is their problem. I said it before, if care is not taking it is just 10people that will determine the president of Nigeria unless election integrity is addressed. 1 Like |

Proudlyngwa: The law will be used selectively. If you are vocal against the government, and they are aware you didn’t vote, then you can be imprisoned for it. |
Psoul(m): 8:44am On May 20 |
So, if M C Plump and his gangs that have government backing threaten to kill people that will not vote them, you still expect us to go there to vote so that we will be killed. You politicians are selfish and ev!l. God will not allow our blood spill for ev!l politicians. 1 Like |
