Yes, they got relegated from the Champions league and whooped in the Europa by Manchester United. Under this new rule, once you are out of the UCL, you are going straight back to your house. So, top flight teams i.e consistently good and serious teams may never play those two leagues again and in fact, i think the rule should be changed so the conference league should be played by teams facing relegations in their respective leagues.
