shortgun:No it’s not. The other presidents were defending the naira/subsidizing dollar whereas Tinubu’s govt is not. You can’t compare illusion with reality! 2 Likes |

Nairaland has been infiltrated by story spinners and publicists. It's too obvious. Imagine someone calling "money illusion" devaluation ? How will he not be able to pay salaries when the value of the naira is now utter worthless. 2 Likes 1 Share |

chidiokay: I normally use the block feature on people who argue blindly and refuse to take correction. Congratulations, you have earned it. I will block you. After the block expires, I will block you again. The less I read your takes, the better for me because no one wins a battle against deliberate stûpidity. 1 Like |

Your comparison is flawed because the variables are different especially for the current istration The naira was defended by all the previous government and fuel was subsidised. However, both subsidies are now gone The government can decide to make N1 = $1 but the forex reserves will be depleted within 2 years 1 Like |

Eboofa: I still don't get why you Igbo are so fixated on getting into Aso Villa.... What's the biggie about that shiit... Your annual allocations continue to be swallowed by your fellow Igbos who are secretly fueling the nonsense secession propaganda... These same elitist Igbos are in bed with those who run the country and I swear to you brother that when those running things will agree to let an Igbo into Aso Rock, it'll surely be someone they can control. Ya PO, I believe is in bed with them too. All sellouts. All visionless m0r0ns who are afraid of greatness. 1 Like |

rinzaugustine: It's the other way. Your logic is upside down. Because some roads are not in good state doesn't suggest that you don't construct new roads that would bring about ease. Besides, it's not as if the bad roads have been ignored but those who are the carriers of fake and negative news will never know that funds are also released to addressed bad roads too with many ongoing repairs and maintenance 1 Like |
