Good, Tinubu is allowing us to know the rot in the oil and gas industry. Rather than try to cover up, he allows things get exposed and then solves them.

Maxymilliano:Even a child born yesterday knew that the USD1.5Bn loan taken by Mele Kyari with our untapped crude oil to rehabilitate refineries has gone as money for the boys again yet no one will be held able. This is the same Tinubu government that promised to fight corruption few days ago while he himself is corruption personified. Yet to the agbadorian Mofos Tinubu is the best thing that happened after sliced bread. Once they start gaslighting you with their paper achievements on this forum just ask them where's our USD1.5Bn loan they took to revamp refineries and where are the working refineries and watch them go dumb. 2 Likes |

For a facility that was allegedly "rehabilitated" amidst much fanfare, this sudden shutdown only reinforces what many Nigerians have long suspected: the Port Harcourt refinery was never truly operational. Rather, it served as a smokescreen — a symbol of government propaganda. Despite billions of naira spent on its so-called rehabilitation, there's been no measurable output to justify the claims that the refinery was up and running. If anything, the lack of transparency around its operations has fueled growing distrust. The term “maintenance” now appears to be a euphemism for failure — a face-saving label for a project that never delivered

lordm:Who says he won't win. Your vote and mine won't count. They write results sheets in their bedrooms and handover to INEC. You dispute,go to Court. And the courts are already in their pockets. Very sad 😭 situation. There could be only changes due to mass revolt or military insurrection, which is a near impossibility because of the polarization of the institution. |

Bayo Onanuga, after his fact -finding mission to the refinery said the refinery was in perfect condition and producing at optimum capacity. He poured encomiums to the MD and NNPC Group Managing Director for "Excellent" job. He praised Tinubu to high heavens for his visionary leadership. All is now history. The refinery was not working then, but packaged to work temporarily. Bayo Onanuga knew this. But ignored the harsh reality on ground. He reported to his principal what he saw in his fact -finding visit. Now,we all know is a scam. And Why should such a fellow still be in the presidential cabinet in advisory capacity. He is not sincere and should be asked to step aside. This is the Time the president rejigs his istration with competent professionals. Not half baked and fair weather persons. Go Bayo Onanuga Go! 1 Like |
