In recent times I use online radio when I really want to listen to FM radio stations. I am still loyal to some radio programs which I listen to at the office.

In Ughelli North its everyday everytime. Almost Every public transport you board be it vehicles going to warri, asaba, kwale etc Keke within Ughelli n environs all always playing Quest 93.1FM, families in neighborhoods, Almost every compound, offices in Ughelli in mornings all listening to quest fm i don't know why they're so fascinated about it, like right now my neighbor is disturbing me with the same radio station. The question you should be asking is when we put on a shortwave radio to hear...for me the last time was in 2009. I don't even know where my old shortwave radio is. (Used to listen to BBC and VOA , and occasionally catch RFI, Libyan radio, and even radio netherlands, and radio portugal).

Also, you should ask about AM radio. Once upon a time, that was where radio was at. Now...static.(Last time I listened to AM was a few years ago..and it was to catch VOA...then the Niger coup happened, and American rebroadcasts ended, since the AM transmitter was located in Niger).

Also, ask anyone about Worldspace. Once upon a time, it was the cutting edge. Today, gone as if it never existed. But in its time you could listen to any radio station in the world on it. Satellite radio.

The internet is great, but it has ruined a lot of old communication modes.

Radio is for security men, cab drivers and bricklayers. I got my security men GoTV so they’ll be enlightened. Since then, I never hear their radio on for anything.
