Keep quiet there,
Mario Puzo do not have the Igbos in mind, " When he wrote,"Behind every great fortune there is a crime"

He was an American Italian. He authored The Novel " The Godfather "and other Mafia mob related stories

Exactly, bro.

I just wonder if crime is what these guys worship.

Two Developers were defending crime in an hotel I stayed in Benin and I just tire.
They even said it is an abomination to go village empty handed at the end of the year.

That, it is the village elders that will call that person out openly in the village and humiliate him.

I told these guys that, that alone encourages Crime, and they both shouted me down. They claim it is to ginger the person to do better when next he goes back to Obodo Lagos (Their Europe, grin)

Omo, these wonderful tribe needs to do better. They are too money conscious.
Their girls constitute 90% of Naija Ashewo all over Africa. JohnK area of cotonou for example.
Nawao!

Their parents are the ones sending many of them into crime. How will you humiliate me for not coming home with millions. I would rather abandon such parents.

Pure nonsense.

Developers need to do better.
grin this guy, you bye anti spam bot despite the fact that ur post is full of tribalism and regionalism

Of course the authorities are largely to blame for not doing their jobs, but parents and society are also at fault.

Ever heard of parental intuition?!! This comes from the place of bonding and morality.

If something is off about your child's source of wealth, you will know instantly...!

Truth is, a lot of you Nigerians worship money, and have put off your moral responsibilities towards a saner society... No wonder your needless and weak justifications.

I have witnessed parents who knew their kids were fraudsters, yet failed to say a word of reproach or reject their gifts.

My own parents don't have much and didn't become overly wealthy, but I would never dare bring a dime of ill-gotten wealth to them, cos they would curse me and reject it.

I grew up in the midst of such people, and that made me and a lot of my childhood friends decide never to yield to the temptation of dirty and unclean wealth.

When I visited my father-in-law for his permission to court and marry his daughter, the man grilled me for an hour like an FBI agent about my income source and livelihood... He even demanded proof.

Blaming authorities and leaving out the first and foundational unit of society (family) makes no sense.

One lesson I have learnt about life, the more pious some people sounds, the more wickedness they are trying to cover. One good thing about God is you can't hide forever. grin grin grin grin angry

You can't hide forever, but yet many people have suffered great pain in their hands, or do those people deserve what they got?

If not, why did they have to suffer that type of suffering unto death?

When you meet an old friend, someone you’ve not seen for more than 5 years, don’t relate with them based on the previous relationship you shared. Don’t relate with them based on the previous trust you had, don’t share too much, don’t take them home to your family until you are sure they are still the same.

People change over time and humans are wicked, they can hide their true colors to fool you!

I laf in Swahili, you are shocked because Uche is a religion man, if that is the case, Nigeria is supposed to be a crime free nation nah......how many of us that are not religious? Yet, Naija is the capital city of crime nations.

Meanwhile, how many of these wealthy Igbo men, who are not into ritual, stealing or drug/human trafficking? They nick-named their shady deals as " nah business"
I wondering too, why waa he shocked. It's a common phenomenon in the East to make it at all cost, they don't even hide it that they are into Money ritual.

Religion extremism is a danger.
The stickers all over his place is a sign of longing for miracles and breakthrough. If he don't mind getting it from any religion, he is shopping around spiritual homes.

Despite the video evidence presented on Wednesday, your people were already defending him and denying it ever happened. We all know the tribe notorious for ing evil and always see attacks on evildoers as an attack on the Igbo tribe. No Yoruba man would feel offended about the news of ritualist being caught in Osun, Oyo or Ogun State and we will never see their prosecutions as an attack on the Yoruba race and image, we all know the people notorious for doing that.
Y’all insulted the OP, tagging his story “a made up faux aimed at rubbishing the south East)
Please always cover your head with a Kevlar-plated helmet make E Dey play he Dey show the billionaire no go use am for you 😂

Do you know the tribe of the Immigration officer who captured him at Seme border?

If that guy was not at the immigration post that day. This guy would have been free home and dry.

I am sure some policemen at any of the 500 checkpoints between Enugu-Lagos may have seen him, but the gluttons may have taken money and let him go.
