How much did he and tinubu meet the dollar in 2023?
Mathewrichard99: 7:11pm On May 30
What's the difference? Naira to Dollar as at today is $1 to N1,650 depending on your location.... Just N350 to hit N2000.......that's not a good achievement to me...... though he's not to blame but the government, to create enabling environment for business to thrive.... especially Foreign Capital Investments....Need to encourage the populace to have hope in the country and venture out to create jobs etc......making the country the hub of production and manufacturing......creating SMES all over, startup companies ...without all those, dollar wouldn't give way for Naira to move closer to it except we go the ways of the Past presidents by floating Naira on emptiness.......

How is unifying the value of naira a poor policy?, how many countries operate five to six multiple exchange rate windows?. Did you go to school?.
As a matter of fact, Cardoso had not been appointed when the President through the then acting CBN Governor devalued the currency. Cardoso came in to meet the policy already in place and then stabilized the system through various guidelines. You guys are just social media noisemakers, nothing upstairs.

How have his guidelines taken the price of dollar back to were it was in may 2023?

Can you tell me the benefit of his guidelines to customers as they have to pay more for using ATMs and have to pay more for banks incomptence?

what did the morrocan governor do?
Cardosso is arguably the best, he stirred the CBN in the midst of economic crisis, fuel subsidy removal and unification of the exchange rate.

Cardosso build his empire on chaos while others built on comfort

How did the stirring of CBN result in better living standard for Nigerians?

In the midst of which economic crisis did cardoso stir cBN thru?

If fuel subsidy removal and unification of the exchange rate were good policies, why was there a need for CBN to be stirred thru them?

Cardoso is doing a great job – under the circumstances. Not sure about Tinubu though.

What is the great job he is doing?

How are confident that cardoso is doing a great job but you are not sure about tinubu?

Well, if we are to go by his strict job description which is issuing the currency, he has done a good job. Naira has not been scarce
But if we are to go by inflation and currency value, na wa oooo shocked

You have this irritating and petty way of commenting, like women do, whereby you complement and bitch in the same statement when it should be one or the other.

Cardoso has done exemplarily well for those who understands floatation of a currency causes inflation yet such is a sacrifice that must be Borne by nations, in the short term, for the many long-term greater good.

Some of you just bang on a million times about inflation as if it has not been explained to you, at least a million times also, why it was necessary to float the Naira.

Is the problem illiteracy, bad belle for the current government or a fondness for mischief? Give Cardoso his dues and move on.

Weda the policies are good or not is not the topic.
The topic is that, did Cardosso manage the CBN very well in the midst of economic crisis Ofcos he did.

Who is his candidate? Is he WAEC?

Are you saying that up till now Nigeria is still not yet great?

What have tinubu and buhari been doing since in the last 10years that up till now Nigeria is not yet great?

Since you say tinubu is better than all PDP presidents, how has Tinubu successfully tackled corruption, nepotism, cronyism, hunger, unemployment, hardship, poverty, inflation, wasteful government spending, budget padding, insecurity, bad governance, failing public infrastructure, poor medial services and falling standard of education?

How is this even possible? What parameters? Is this life made for only the rich and privileged? Well we continue to fight to the top in the midst of this darkness. I hate to complain about leaders, cos we are truly aa a country a reflection of our leaders. God help us all

You can't understand, no need wasting my precious time lecturing you.

No ways and means
No subsidy payment
No padding of the dollar.

All the above were done during emefiele era.

Ok... what are the benefits of floating the naira aka devaluation?
If you do not understand English, don't blame it on me. A man who oversaw the loss of local value by over 400% cannot be said to be doing a superb job.
Same goes for inflation. A man who increased inflation by over 300points cannot be said to have done a good job either

I cant help you if you don't understand what cardoso didn't do.
Emefiele is responsible for the fall of the economy. He should know better. Why was he printing money? Why was he padding the usd value to satisfy the cabal?
