I will still says it only a complete mad man like idiagbon( his blessed memery) can rule Nigeria and everybody will sit up or run to exile because no matter how you try to fix this country some demons won't let it work.

Only a iron fist tactics can stop the mess in NNPC whatever because there are 5 or 7 cabals who have be existing since IBB era till date who has vowed to make sure it s either them as per NNPC or nothing, surprisingly two among these demons are among those who want to rule Nigeria by all means and these two demons were among the top arrow-heads that betrayed Gej and ed others to kicked him out.

Seriously first thing iss to dismantle those Petrol Marketers(These two demons also in that group) but coming out to pretend to Nigerians they are saints and kept attacking Tinubu to hide their secret wicked deeds and those confused gullible ones out there ing them and hailing them not known these 2 demons are one of the real enemy of this country.

And for those "lack of independent reasoning capacity Emergency Nigeria Citizen" quote me and say whatever sorry I don't care.

You mention decisiveness in Nigeria’s leadership to address these recurring issues but the only thing you missed out is who is responsible to carry out the work. Or is it Chuks13 that will address the cabals? The buck stops at someone’s table and if that person is unwilling or incapable to address the malaise, does he deserve to be in office?

When people like us questioned the falsehood, they called us haters, wailers etc. This is a country where people are easily turned zombies because of tribalism, they don't want anything negative said about their political gods

Trillions of naira spent on a refinery that didn't produce a litre if fuel, and Nigerians are not raising their voices.

Onanuga, omokri and others waiting for Obi to complain so they pounce of him. We sha deserve the crop of leaders we have. No ability, no honesty, no integrity, nothing nothing, just wave the tribalism wand, and see magic everywhere
..is for the federal government to hand over or sell out those government refineries to the private operators, entrepreneurs, private sector.. the private operators entrepreneurs are very good in operating and running businesses and refineries effectively without much problems and breakdown see dangote refinery still running and operating till now without much problems and breakdown that is a private operator entrepreneur...the responsibility of government is to provide a conducive environment for businesses, refineries to thrive and excel but not to go or involve in.businesses and refineries.. for they normally say government has no business in business.. simple

NNPCL suffers from three core dysfunctions:
1. Perpetual Political Interference – management decisions are hostage to shifting political interests.
2. Zero ability Culture – $20B+ has been funneled into refineries over 3 decades with no audit trail or tangible output.
3. Public Sector Operating Model – bloated staffing, zero profit imperative, and no performance metrics.

Refineries operate as fiscal blackholes, not industrial assets.

Most Practical Fix (Based on Global Models):

Step 1: Full Privatisation of Refineries

Sell off the four government-owned refineries in open, transparent international bidding – preferably to established global or regional refiners like Trafigura, Vitol, Aramco, or local credible players like Indorama.

Step 2: List NNPC Ltd on NSE + LSE (Dual Listing)

Emulate Saudi Aramco, Petrobras, and Petronas. This forces transparency, aligns shareholder interest, and unlocks billions in foreign capital.

Step 3: Set up Independent Refining Regulator

Strip the NNPC of its dual role as operator and regulator. Create a downstream industry regulator to ensure compliance, fair pricing, and environmental standards.

Step 4: Blacklist Asset Strippers

Ensure only firms with a proven history in refining and logistics can bid. Require turnaround plans and enforce performance benchmarks via contract clauses.

Step 5: Open Judicial Inquiry into Refinery Scandals

Hold former executives able (e.g., Mele Kyari case, $80bn frozen). Set a precedent that looters will be jailed and funds recovered.

Step 6: Rechannel Saved Subsidy Funds into Modular Refineries + Solar Infrastructure

Decentralize energy strategy by investing in 50,000 bpd modular refineries across oil-rich states, powered partly by solar, thus de-risking large-scale failure.

NNPC’s refinery woes are not technical, they’re structural and political. Only total divestiture, IPO, and prosecution of corruption can reboot Nigeria’s refining capacity and fiscal sanity.

They know all this but the goal is stealing and looting

If they do all what you mentioned, where will they see money to steal and loot

...

Boss I appreciate your comments.

Stay blessed

What is stopping the federal government from selling all 4 refineries and using all the money to build one large refinery like dangote?

If they are really serious about this fuel exportation business, that's what they should have done.

Please give me a good answer

Just the best caption for it.

Hmmm.... perhaps 'waste recycling plant' is equally apt.

Kyari thought he and his team could deceive us.. they are the most foolish beings i have ever seen for thinking the truth will not emerge in a big country like Nigeria

This is what we have been saying for years now.Anyone who thinks government can efficiently run refineries in Nigeria is probably one of the politicians, civil servants or contractors benefiting from the corruption there or the person has a very low IQ.
