THAT must have been a decoy, I heard over the local news in the UK barely an hour ago that the Nigerian VP would be visiting Kano today.

Visitation to the blast scene is just another of those their first steps that never graduate to the next stage, Him and his cabinet should work towards putting a STOP to future occurrences.

Can he now at least acknowledge that more than seven people died. I just hate hearing those lies about seven casualties.

It is proper that he visits, but as he visits the Emir and the sites he should to visit the victims in hospitals, the widowers and widows as well as the orphaned children. He should also visit the traders, the workers and the bystanders who have been under siege for many years. Once all the visiting is done, Nigerians need the collective fury of whatever competent security forces we have left to visit JUSTICE on Boko Haram. |
jamace(m): 6:11pm On Jan 22, 2012 |
Visit, my a.s.shole. ![]() This is not the time for political gimmicks. It is time for ACTION. This visit will only boost the ego of the emir and can never impress Nigerians. The era of mere political visit is over. Please, hammer this into his skull. |

alj harem: Lets be honest to ourselves. From a suspect having an "association with the VP", to finding a suspect with an "airforce officer" in a "govt. house", to aiding Boko Haram suspects by a "commissioner of police", all of these, powerful connections. If there ever was/ is a chance of ending Boko Haram, its you northerners that would effect it. GEJ has run out of ideas - and I don't blame him one bit. |
Kolababa: 6:28pm On Jan 22, 2012 |
One thing about human being is that they will not know the effect of their hypocrisy until they fall victim. I have a friend that used to defend GEJ on his clueless. He was an ardent campaigner for Jonathan. I condole with him that he lost his elder brother that Kano blast. When I visited him this morning, himself and the family were raining curses on Jonathan and his government. May God give his family the fortitude to bear the loss. Is a bitter experience. |
aljharem(m): 6:37pm On Jan 22, 2012 |
Funkymallam: hmmm, I don't think it is about whether the people complain or not. I think it about the frustration of the people. It is not really about GEJ PR whether he visits or not. okstol: Have I even complained about GEJ not visiting a bomb site ? and if I have please provide a link I am not critising GEJ here, Of course kudos to him for this action. I guess I was just fed up of all this bomb, then visit then few days again bomb. I think it is about time we as a people start finding a lasting solution to this, don't you think ? dem_people: I guess as much, I understand that GEJ is trying his best but at this stage the best is not enough. Lets be honest with ourselves. Are we going to keep doing like this where bombs go off and the boko haram keep having the last laugh ? No I checked the thread Beaf opened the other day about a foreign IG and it made a lot of sense. That is someone thinking of a solution. We cannot keep going on like this, something has to give. Boko haram has nothing to do with northerners or muslims. They represent themselves. |
Sunofgod(m): 7:06pm On Jan 22, 2012 |
dem_people: GEJ has become a 'Boko Haramist' himself. He couldn't beat them so he's ed them. Dont expect anything from the GEJ regarding Boko - He's one of them and also one of the 'Mysterious Cabal' destroying Nigeria. |

I feel for Jonathan. He is practically helpless . . . and to makes matters worse, his advisers are/were telling him rubbish just to dissociate themselves from him at the end of the day. My adviser for him is that he has two options: 1) Unite the South somehow . . . . OR 2) Fight Boko Haram head on. Arrest Atiku and co that vowed to make the country ungovernable. Not doing any of the two will surely lead to disaster . . . . ![]() |
Domingo1: 7:27pm On Jan 22, 2012 |
thank God he did this on time
|
aljharem(m): 7:28pm On Jan 22, 2012 |
jason123: Unite the south or unite Nigeria. What dumb statement |
