Because of one lady, you're demonizing a whole demographic of innocent people who are struggling to make ends meet like you?

Actually what strikes me is that these are very friendly and non-racist people. See how happy and relaxed the guy is? He wouldn't be like that in US/UK. Cleanliness and infrastructure are NOT everything. I wouldn't mind living here. And he doesn't seem worried about crime at all. Lagos, you'd be worried about crime as a foreigner
India, racist and friendly shouldn't be in one sentence. Do your research.

So paki boys are now white people to you?

People when their parents dey Nigeria since 1980 dey steal our resources.

They were probably born and bred in Kano

Don't forget Hausa is just 3 months in the north you will speak it fluently.

An average Nigerian can speak Hausa, including yours truly
Which nonsense resources are they stealing from you? You better go and work so you won't be living in bitterness.

Odun ileya odun elebo. Festival of sacrifice.

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The first thing that we should do on this day of ours is to pray and then return to slaughter the sacrifice. So anyone who does so, he acted according to our Sunna (tradition), and whoever slaughtered the sacrifice before the prayer, it was just meat which he presented to his family and would not be considered as Nusuk." A person from the Ansar named Abu Burda bin Niyyar said, "O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) ! I slaughtered the Nusuk (before the prayer) but I have a young shegoat which is better than an older sheep." The Prophet (ﷺ) I said, "Sacrifice it in lieu of the first, but it will be not sufficient [b](as a sacrifice)[b/b] for anybody else after you."
Sahih al-Bukhari, 965
In-Book Reference: Book 13, Hadith 14
USC-MSA web (English) reference: Vol. 2, Book 15, Hadith 82 (deprecated numbering scheme)
1. Says someone whose god sacrificed his son for him.

2. Check your bible, you'll see how many men of God offered sacrifice to God. Or are those people not men of God?

3. The only wrong sacrifice is the one offered to a mortal like you. Like you offer your tithes to God of men in your places of worship.

I no like Tinubu but this is commendable.

The next step is to ensure the integrity of the persecution process. It shouldn't be a tool for political or personal victimisation.

Anyone caught deliberately pointing wrong fingers of accusations must be dealt with.

FG only needs a few scapegoats from each of the geopolitical zones and everybody will FEM!

In my opinion, Nigeria isn't hard to govern. It's just that we have spineless people in government. Unfortunately, they're only spineless when it comes to enforcing laws for the public. But when it comes to witch-hunting their political adversaries, they have spines of vibranium.

there is no oba in Ilorin ?is gambari Yoruba name?have you seen any Hausa who is emir in the north ?
Emir is an Islamic title not a tribal title.

So as I said, keep your tribalism for the politics section.

reserved your tribalism for the politics section the same thing Ilorin were busy saying without knowing that Fulani people are just fooling them with religion
How are Fulani fooling them?

Why did you skip the part where the Qura'n says: if the moon is not sighted, count the days until 29 or 30 and begin a new month?
Quote it for me. And mention the chapter and verse.
beardedboy(m): 8:35am On May 28
Sheuns:

What’s the methodology? Tell us.

Islam says if you sight the new moon or count till the month is 29 or 30. All these can be predicted. There’s technology advancements that aids these.

We’re not in 6th century where we have to wait for the Mulama to tell us it’s a new month. Anyone with knowledge and get the correct information.

Tell me why the calendars are always accurate.
As you said, those calendars are predictions. So they can be correct or incorrect.

And as I said earlier, there are various versions of these calculations. And they contradict themselves. Please spend time to read and study before arguing. These predictions are not 2+2 =4 type of science.

Most importantly, the Qur'an says "Whoever amongst you sights the moon". So the beginning of an Islamic month is based on sighting not calculations.

You act like the 6th century was some form of barbaric era. It shows you know next to nothing about history. These statistical estimates for predicting the moon have been around since that 6th century. Yet, Allah and His messenger صلى الله عليه وسلم commanded the believers to base their months on sighting.

Are you wiser or Allah?!
beardedboy(m): 7:10am On May 28
Sheuns:
What’s he declaring what is already known? Like say Hijri calendar no dey again.
Islam has its methodology of declaring the beginning and end of a month.

Why do you people act like those automated calendars are some sorth of strict science or even a divine revelation?

Any sensible person who knows basic statistics knows those calendars are based on statistical estimations. So we should leave what we see with our korokoro eyes for some estimates?

Added to that, there are many estimates and they vary in their results.

and what if a Yoruba man sight the 🌙 at oshogbo?
1. There are appropriate channels for him to report it.

2. It's very unlikely that the crescent will be sighted in the south but go unsighted in the north. A simple look at satellite imagery will help you understand this. And I say this as a remote sensing expert.

3. Islam is a religion of orderliness and gives strong importance to protocols.

4. Please reserve your tribalism for the politics section.

Getting to paradise is a function of the life lived on earth. Be kind and humane and one can die with a smile on the face knowing that he/she is going to a better place.
While kindness and humanity are part of what takes one to paradise or at least increase one's rank in paradise, the fundamental requirement for ission to paradise is belief in your one and only Creator, Provider and Sustainer.

Just as He created you, provides for you and directs your affairs without the help of any partner, you must also give him all your worship and service without sharing them with anyone. Else, forget paradise. No amount of kindness or humanity will save you from such grievous injustice.

So you cannot sit with your wife and map out how to get a different job?
You cannot review her CV with her and look out for more flexible jobs?
You think she likes working herself to the bones? How much do you have to give her to start up a business?
Do you know how much capital is needed to adequately start something viable? What of the time needed to grow the business?

Instead of being practical and taking the right action to safeguard your family income, you are here moving funny.
If your income alone was enough to keep your family afloat, she will not be working so hard.

Look inwards. Be practical and start looking for a more flexible job for her.
Which silly family income?
how did you conclude that the nonsense job even pays anything significant enough to contribute to the family.

Women that can work their lives out for peanut pay.

Reports like this should have a research paper published before them.

You can't just post numbers and expect to accept them hook line and sinker.

That said, I'm not saying the numbers are false. In fact, based on my daily experience as a Nigerian living in Nigeria I would say they're correct.

But my daily experience isn't a substitute for science.

Which school did you attend and what was your marks?

Your comments is a stark reality of what's being discussed. Go to kids section to Banter your mates there.😔
Go to the graveyard and banter your mates.

When you have nothing useful to say, the next thing is to throw insults.

Pickieox:

Let's assume you fail to gain ission that year, will you be talking like this? You people and sentiment laced with tribalism. I wonder where it will lead you. You believe every children is unserious like your kids or siblings.

1. I wouldn't complain because there are my mates who scored good grades and gained ission despite the error.

2. Even if I would complain, I won't say it's because I'm from a certain tribe. That's too low.

3. Human errors are parts of life. Yes, the loss could be massive. It could even claim lives directly. But in the end it's part of life so far it's an error. Wise people acknowledge their errors, learn from the errors and continue on their path to progress. They don't waste time wailing.
