They did not mention the list of projects. Anyways it seems federal institutions are enjoying better budgetary allocations. It’s been a while that I have heard states owe salaries. This article is superficial 1) depending on experience some doctors earn way more than this in these countries- maybe pay by cadre may give a good insight 2) The pay reflects the general standard of living and the cost of goods and services in these countries. That context must be there for appropriate comparison 3) That being said, regardless of metric, Nigerian doctors are poorly paid, poorly motivated, have a poor working environment and hated and blamed for systemic collapse by most citizens.
