what if she eventually goes that path? Mind you, the universe always has a way of bringing that we think into reality.

There's a 90 percent probability that she would not. The 10 percent pending is dependent on her temperament

Women should be more emotionally intelligent but I will this test easily logically.
There are many ways to deal with a woman but physical combat is out of option

A man should date a woman within the same level of EI as himself, else he would be greeted with doubts such as this.

U keep shouting emotional intelligence, maybe the lady in question sef is not emotionally intelligent and she was just asking the question ordinarily.
Maybe there was no bait, she just asked due to what she heard

If you read through the chat, you wouldn't say this. Are you privy to how people use dark psychology to their advantage? This is it at play.

Ehnn na he too not that he plans to play out the response he gave her too,he just said it to see her reaction..Anyway I think he needs to be very careful with such a manipulative lady..

Relationship is sacrifice to make your partner happy and not just about yourself alone but she has managed to make it all about herself even when he told her from the start that he would walk away she still pushed him to get that response she wanted to get from him..I am not sure she values him as much as he does her.

I agree with you. She seems to wield more emotional intelligence than op. Emotionally intelligent people most times are manipulators.

I disagree with you, always let your partner know your stance on a lot of things like he did, don't take that chance with anybody physical abuse goes both ways, I will never hit a woman or anybody no matter how provoked I am but you raise your hand on me I go give you double, it's just a simple principle everyone should know each other's principle to be guilded

The lady didn't tow this path to let her stance known. That can easily be expressed. She manipulated op into knowing his stance on physical assault.

Do you hit your dad or does your mum hit your dad?

Do you hit your male superior at work if you find yourself disagreeing with them or when they make you unhappy?

If you don't hit people around, why your man that loves you the only human that you feel you should hit and wants him to walk away?

Because you love him way too much? Or he's a piece of trash? Or he doesn't deserve any form of respect?

You failed to understand my point of view. That lady didn't say she was going to physically assault the op. She said that to trigger a reaction which she got. Sometimes, people makes claims that are farfetched and they don't intend to see through with all in a quest to arrive at the truth or even gaslight.

Please married people I need ur input on this.
I do two jobs, one govt job that pays me 150k, and another audit firm that pays 250k, making it 400k
My girlfriend has been very ive though, she cooks and clean at all times, except my laundry cos I do my laundry myself and once a while help in cleaning but I don't cook cos I can't eat food that I cook, I don't even help her in the kichen enter except when I want to microwave food.
Recently she asked me to give her my UBA ATM card where I recieve 150k and I should keep the 250k for myslef that she will manage the money herself but will only give me 15k monthly for transportation, Kai my own money o. She has agreed to buy all groceries and house-upkeep needed for the month except rent.
Her excuse is that it's better since I dont help in house chores.
Though I do give her monthly upkeep for her stress but managing my finance is not something I actually fancy.

I am still contemplating on it and I need input if it's ok to allow her manage the money.
Pls I will prefer married people input and not redpillers abeg

This doesn't sound right, do not fall for it. Even if she is your wife, asking for such privileges is alot.

How much do you spend on restocking your house and sorting utilities per month? That is the amount you should transfer to her.

Are you for real juliearth? Omg this is wild, emotional intelligence lol.
That lady use her own hands to display the kind of woman she is. Why do she want to give out drugs she can't take? It doesn't make sense. I always tell my lady, say all manner of things to me, but never raise your hands on me. So I'm not expecting her to cry foul when I reciprocate the ill gesture towards me. Same goes in that chat, that female is trying to manipulate the young lad into getting abused and not retaliating or voiceing out, and you said her emotional intelligence is higher than he's. Wtf julie

Exactly! She baited him and he fell for it. Only an emotionally intelligent person can throw such baits. Asking that question doesn't mean she would play out the response she gave. She painted that picture to get your reaction.

Research more about emotional intelligence and you would understand that it goes hand-in-hand with emotional manipulation and that was the blow the op suffered.

Point of correction. Yes, she was trying to manipulate him not to being abused, but to know if he can return the gesture if it happens (not like she intends to tow that path)

Hi. I had this chat with my girlfriend today and I'm here wondering if I have been having a messed up principle. I personally don't believe in violence. I will rather involve the authority than get physical. While growing up, I have always believed that hitting a woman irrespective of her actions is totally wrong until I was slapped in SS1 by a hot tempered girl. I didn't hit her back but I randomly think about it ever since grin. After that, I decided to always return every assault irrespective of the gender. But now I'm questioning that principle after this convoy. Am I wrong? What will you do in a similar situation?

Your ลตoman baited you and you fell for it. Or maybe not exactly falling, but you pet out your disposition to the situation.

Let's just say her level of emotional intelligence sures yours.

That is human nature at play. Humans are wired to desire so bad and once the desired has been attained, the itch for bigger wins beclouds the need to celebrate "small" wins. Sometimes, it could be due to the fear of complacency or perfectionism.

I overthink things. I don't vet actions, I vet intentions. For this reason, I find it quite hard to relate with average-thinking people who are quite careless with their actions and intentions.

As an INTJ-E, it is also very hard to find or maintain meaningful friendships, hence I have chosen the path of certified lonership. Better that than **************

I am not stubborn, but I am not a conformist.

Lastly, I am quite difficult to understand. Blame it on my INTJ-E persona. The few people who understand my personality, however, know that a Dove's meekness doesn't come anywhere close to mine.

I'm 36 years old and can't seem to find a Nigerian lady to marry around me in Delta state.
I'm thinking about embarking on a trip to one of these African countries. Maybe, luck might be on my side.
My last relationship was with an Igbo lady who was a first daughter. She was schooling and needed me to her.

However, all she kept saying was how she wanted to build a house for her parents in the village and also take care of her family.

So I asked my self one question: Why should I spend my money to you in Nursing school, (that your parents aren't able to) only for you to finish and spend your money on your family (Including her brothers) while I spend mine in running our home?
It just didn't make sense to me.

You have dated women around you and also one Igbo lady. Is that enough to brandish all of us as bad? Is/was your mother a bad wife to your father? Are you trying to say all the marriages you see around you are suffering?

So let's say all the ladies around you are not marriageable, hence the next line of action is to extend your search to other African countries... Great! Last time I checked, 36 states make up Nigeria.

Well your need, your choice! All the best!!

Thank you for this divine campaign. Feels like a breath of fresh air and a break from the norm. I got tired reading about how children from dysfunctional homes come online to disgrace their mothers and sisters all in the name of fuelling a hate campaign against women.

There are good and bad people out there and it is not subjective to Nigerian women only. These children date h*es and expect to get angelic treatment. (Pun intended)

If eating out is cheaper for you,you should go and learn food management. It is very vital.

There are basics you need in a my Nigerian home.
Freezer not fridge.

A bag or half bag of rice depending on the number of people in your house
Half bag of garri or more.
Half bag of at least 2 types of beans.

Dry pepper,
Bullion cubes
Keg of oils.
If you like crayfish, buy loads and grind.
Carton of spag
If you cook with dry fish, buy like a carton or half.
Cartons of noodles
You can see I didn't incluse yam.

This will set you for a year.

You just shop for fresh proteins, veggies and some other stuffs that don't cost much.

Even as a student, you bulk buy, not to talk of somebody living alone.

Aso rock do bulk buy.

You're right about bulk purchases to curb unnecessary expenses. I had no choice than to venture into that. Last year August, I stocked up with about a lump sum. Asides perishable vegetables and at some point, proteins, I didn't have the need to spend on food. I did same some weeks ago and I won't have need to purchase food items until after 18 months. Perishables in the freezer should last for at least 4 months so I would need to top up on those every 4 months, but dry ingredients should last for 18 months. If you divide what I spent some Weeks ago by the number of months what I purchased would last, you would see the great difference in price.

Cooking vs buying food: Nigerians weigh in on which is really cheaper. Whatโ€™s your take?

These days, you spend more to cook, but that option is still cheaper because you can get to enjoy that meal for days. With 20-25k and with an empty kitchen, one can make a big pot of soup and stew to last for 2 weeks as well as rice, pasta and garri to last for the same duration. Same amount or slightly less can be spent in a day when eating out.

Hello guys, happy sunday to you all.

Quick one, I would like to know your thoughts concerning an issue in an apartment I rented here in Abuja early this year. It is a 2 bedroom , live-alone apartment (just my family) on a half plot of land with some bananas in front of it.

A couple of weeks ago, the landlord and caretaker called me to tell me that they wanted to send someone to come and check if the bananas are ripe for them to come and harvest it, which I vehemently refused.

Property Lawyers in the house and well-meaning Nairalanders, kindly advise on this situation before it escalates. I believe it is my right to have exclusive or sole possession of the property so long as my rent is still active. What's your take on this please? Am I wrong ? My children take care of these trees daily by watering and clearing the place. I feel this is wrong from the landlord to do that.

Sorry for the long write-up. Please advise

Cc: Seun

This is an easy issue. The truth is as bright as day. Did you plant the Banana? If you did not, please allow them harvest as they wish. You should only hope they give you from the harvest.

Is the good Samaritan willing to give the hospital his identity in case no one else shows up for the accident victim?

Nigerian database is too poor to hospitals treating accident victims in certain situations. Many of you might claim that I am heartless. But isn't the nurse also a human? What if the victim fails to pay after treatment and the hospital mandates the nurse to pay the bill?

What if police later gets involved and detains the girl when no one else shows up for the victim? In Nigeria, some legal actions have been criminalised and poor people are the victims. For a nurse to boldly refuse to treat the victim, even when she knows she is being recorded, she must have had many bitter experiences in such cases.

ADDED:
Those that attack me and wish that I get involved in a road accident have not been able to answer the question in my first paragraph. Their sentiments render their brains inactive. I never said that an accident victim should not be treated. The point is that whoever takes the victim to a hospital should give the hospital his or her identity in case no one else shows up for the victim. Anyways, whatever you wish me shall befall you in 100 folds unless you point out where I wish anybody bad.

I laugh at those who have quoted me and said I may have a road traffic accident on my next road trip. I had an accident in the year 2020. The moment it happened, I could not sit or stand. I sustained serious spinal injuries. I was rushed to a federal hospital around 3:30 PM. Something like a cast, maybe POP is the name, was applied to my thoracolumbar region, and an injection was given to me. Both the POP and the injection were bought by my uncle from a pharmacy outside the hospital. Then, I was left on a bed along a age at the emergency unit. Only God knows why we met that bed there. No other bed along that age. After about 2 or 3 hours, my uncle complained and questioned why I was still left along the age. The medical record staff he spoke to called security to bounce him out of the hospital. Another accident victim was brought in around 11:00 PM. Around 3:00 AM, the relatives of that one angrily took him out to look for another hospital. I remained along the age, groaning in pains until after 11:00 AM or 12:00 PM the next day because there was no network for the hospital to open a folder for me.

So many other pathetic events followed. Though I didn't lose sensation, no defecation and no urge for it for at least one week, I stopped having erection until after many months, my lungs felt deflated, no bathing for at least 4 months because my thoracolumbar region remained covered with the cast. I remained in bed for a while before I was mobilized on a wheelchair. But I never blamed the workers I met there because I understand that the system was not destroyed by them. This thing happened in the National Orthopaedic Hospital Enugu. So, the fools wishing me accident and the ones telling me about federal hospitals should know that I have been a victim. I contemplated euthanasia for myself because I never knew I would survive. I have suffered. I am leaving with pains. But I am not a sentimentalist. Glory to God. Now, I walk without crutches but can't lift heavy things or do so many things. I don't do physical exercise. I don't kneel down. But in all these, I am not sentimental and stupid like those of you that attack me here. I don't and will never scapegoat health workers. I blame them only when they are at fault.

I totally agree with you. The Nurse is not the villain here, but those who made it so.

Sorry for the bone injury you suffered. Bone injuries are a nightmare. One hardly recovers fully from them.

Why shake hands with an average Nigerian with poor personal hygiene practices. A person to whose the restroom for number 1 and 2 and does not clean up properly and wash his or her hand with a disinfecting soap and water... Or someone who like you have said, handles waste matter with bare hands, etc

Most NGOs advert are just for formality sake. You keep applying in line of your field with well written cover letter yet the best you receive is automated acknowledgment mail. Stop giving yourself false hope if you don't have an "insider" that can push your application. Infact the jobs are quickly hijacked by internal applicants. Dem take style corrupt joor!

This is a cancer that cuts beyond the NGO sphere. Our government is guilty of it. The adverts are rolled out as it is a statutory activity to make a recruitment process legit.

NGOs do more of replacement as most offers there are based on contract and once one's contract expires and he is in tune with God and man, he or she is offered the next available office. That next available office is d nonetheless to make the process seem credible.

The same goes for FG offers. Offers may have been rolled out before the actual recruitment process is d.
