And why is the mother asking the public for funds ? grin grin. So kids will be going overseas to represent a country and their parents will be asked to foot the bill ? grin grin grin grin grin........another Nigerian scam ? grin. Always looking for a chance to cashout from their gullible people cheesy

Mariangeles:
Wait!
You're asking us to a Nigerian who's about to represent South Africa in an international tournament? 😧
Do South Africans appreciate him? That is the question.

We (Nigerians) love and him, regardless.
And I hope they (South Africans) appreciate and treat him well, and not discard him at the last minute.

I mean, they were okay with Chidimma competing at first, until it came to the point where it seemed she might win.

Let's hope you people will keep your bad vibes and energy away from the little boy and let him live his life without wanting to use him to score cheap points against SA. He is given an opportunity by SA ,let it be that otherwise he will be another Chidimma grin grin. Let's hope your folks don't pull the same stupid stunts your Ohaneze gang pulled with ChiChi because we all know who will end up crying hot tears grin grin. Let the boy enjoy his quiet life for his sake. South Africans don't care about his story.....he is just another little boy in a sporting team ,don't make him be seen as the Nigerian boy in a South African team with your usual fo*lish antics wink.......we all know how that will end for him wink. You almost achieved that with your Nwabali goalkeeper but he was too smart to let you fck up his life and the opportunity granted to him by South Africans.....he stayed focused on why he is here and humbled himself as a guest . I hope when you start your f*olishness the kid's parents are smart enough to give you all the middle finger like Nwabali did grin

LMAO @Lagos leading Africa. Always dramatic. Typical though grin grin. Always looking for something to brag about even embarrassing stuff you should execute quietly until you can achieve positive results grin

Who else was going to lead that war if not Lagos; which is one of if not the most polluted major city in Africa? grin grin. This is a war that should be championed by dirty cities ,so it's not a flex . Those who were proactive enough to clean their environments are looking at leading innovations in waste recycling and repurposing grin

Better late than never though wink

You have assumed wrong things a lot. I am not such type of person. Local or global politics , I always keep my comments mature.

Fingers are not equal my dear

So you have never posted that before? Are you sure ? grin grin grin.

Ofcourse fingers can never be equal, but they all have functions and one can't replace the other wink

You could have directed your epistle to those that you have been doing Tom and Dick measuring.

The thread you refered to, I was on there, my comments are still there.

Africa as a whole still have a long way to go, so what's there to be competing about

grin grin grin grin grin

Mr Innocent bystander......

Are you not usually one of the posters whenever SA gets into a global squabble with countries better than her ,with comments laced with envy and hatred like " They wanted to be big brother Africa, let them handle it" grin grin grin. Acting as if SA is responsible for chowing a piece of meat your Mama kept for you grin.

Nonsense!!.

As you can see, that thread wasn't something to celebrate

Ofcourse but it ended up being a dyck measuring thread with Nigerians prophesying doom for SA and a bright future for Nigeria grin. So don't come here acting like threads like that aren't the most popular threads here apart from the usual tribal ones.

Anytime Nigeria has some positive news or goes up the rankings in something ....the thread will be dominated with comments like ;
" we will show all these mushroom African countries we are the giant.of Africa " grin
" Naija no be their mate na, we are the most successful African country" grin
Etc.
It always ends up not being a celebration of what youve achieved but a chance to belittle and insult other African countries . Amnesia grin grin

We are not in competition with anyone.

Wondering why other Africa countries always use Nigeria as their measuring yardstick

I wonder why you didn't say this in the thread above or many others like that grin grin grin grin grin. This is the only African forum I know where other African nations are belittled and insulted immediately Nigeria is rated a bit higher than it was previously in anything. Gtoh grin

Nonsense! grin.

Let's give kudos to the guys behind the Brand SA organisation. They have presence throughout the globe selling any SA brand sellable. From tourism, fashion, art, books ,wines etc. Those guys are working overtime promoting SA and I'm happy they're getting the recognition they deserve wink.

They must keep watch of Brand Kenya though. It seems like they are catching up fast; selling Kenyan brands and Tourism sites and all. Wherever you see Brand SA flags ,you're more likely to see Brand Kenya flags nearby as well. I love it though ....Africa needs that presence in such global events . Promoting our own rather than tearing our own countries apart.

The point is that if there is a place where you're persecuted and killed randomly for just looking pretty ,why not run away from such a place but continue bringing in your whole family? grin

If I found a lion's den by mistake ,I'd do everything in my power to escape that vicinity not recruit(lure) my kids and extended family there ...common sense grin grin

Why would I be pained by a well known fact and something that is normal and natural.....it is expected that we import a lot of cocoa as well...do you know why? Because we don't produce such because of where we are geographically grin. But it is laughable that you're in a cocoa- plant friendly environment and still import so much chocolate products grin grin...samething with petroleum products ....you're the biggest oil producer in Africa yet you're dragging petrol importation position with SA grin....clap for your huge achievement grin

The report is about oil. Why poking your nose in the first place when you know SA has no oil?

LMAO grin grin grin. The" report" mentioned South Africa in comparison to Nigeria you genius grin grin.

The usual genius dyck measuring that always backfires grin. Why not compare yourselves to Angola and Libya ? grin grin

The report in a nutshell says Nigeria is becoming self-reliant and self-sufficient in oil but South Africa is becoming more and more reliant on oil imports from other countries like Nigeria

You people can be really funny with your reports grin grin

1. Nigeria is a big oil producer , South Africa isn't.
2. South Africa and Morroco are the most industrialized nations in Africa with very little oil,so it isn't suprising for them to be massive importers of what they don't have.....the suprising and embarrassing nation on that list was always Nigeria.
3. It is a good thing though that you're finally doing something about that wink

Nigeria gave ANC over $60billion in financial aid, Nigeria led a boycott of the 1986 Commonwealth games in protest against the apartheid regime, 32 other countries from Africa, Asia, Caribbean followed Nigeria to boycott the games. Nigeria provided secret military training to ANC guerrilla forces in Kaduna. Anyways, I really do not blame you, I blame the social media. Social media twisted your minds and makes you think Nigeria is in competition with you, but that y'all being delusional. Your older generation who experienced the brutish apartheid regime, who were beaten, battered and treated like slaves on their own land were grateful to the sacrifices of Nigeria towards your liberation.

Go and sanction Switzerland to give you back your $60 bill so that you can save your women and children from being enslaved in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Libya and them . You need liberation from the generational curse of slavery your people have been under since you encountered Arabs and Europeans wink

Social media made us think we are your competition in what exactly? grin grin grin

There's no positive indice where Nigeria and South Africa are ever found in close proximity to each other bro grin grin. Wetin be this.

You are always dragging positions with Somalia and them and we are always dragging with Mauritius and the likes. Nothing would have Nigeria and SA mentioned in the same sentence if you people stopped obsessing over us grin grin

How much was your yearly GDP during that period ? grin grin grin. You can't even spend 5 billion to save yourselves from insecurity ,but you had 60 billion to dash to us back then? grin grin grin cheesy

Where are the receipts.. because your claims only appear in your media and from your very honest politicians grin grin grin grin

Why is the ANC and it's allies from Zim, Namibia Zambia and Tanzania forgetting to mention such a huge amount? grin grin grin. Contributed an audio $60billion? grin grin grin

And training that only your media knows about ? grin grin

Look, we appreciate whatever help your grandfathers might have landed ours in the late days of our struggle ( late 70s and early 80s). But don't ever think we owe your youth a damn thing. And I know why your mods keep on deleting my reply to your initial gragra grin
We have repayed your scholarships, and have given you investments to boost your economy and we even feed your criminals. So we have done more for you than you ever did for us.what you owe yourselves is some self respect. The main character syndrome is a sign of narcissism grin grin.

@ the pope considers Nigeria a very very important African country grin grin grin. For what ? Religious gatherings? grin grin. What is the economic
importance of this to Nigeria.....I can certainly count a few for the Vatican....Nigeria has the largest negro*s gathering of catholic subjects and they'd pay anything for the Vatican to recognize them as such grin grin grin.
