There's nothing beautiful about a wicked creature that kills helpless chickens.
Dogs would hardly do that.
And you think dogs don't kill chicks?

So, those evil cats are finally dead. 😀
I'm glad.
I can't stand cats, and those who like them. 😣
Just look at the evil face. Winch!
So you are amongst those who hate this beautiful creature.

This coastal road project is unnecessary. The government should instead prioritize initiatives that stimulate sustainable economic growth. This includes creating a viable business environment to attract both foreign and domestic investment, while simultaneously empowering local businesses.
This would generate more meaningful employment opportunities, directly addressing the root causes of poverty and reducing the alarming crime rates fueled largely by joblessness and desperation.
The existing roadway linking Lagos to the South-South region already provides the necessary connectivity. Rather than embarking on a costly new project, the government should focus on efficiently rehabilitating and maintaining this current infrastructure to ensure it remains safe and fully motorable.
This will represents a far more strategic allocation of public resources than the coastal road, which appears to be a misplaced priority.
A standard rail line would have addressed this issue too and at a cheaper rate for the populace

Good news for Nigeria as we will save money from importing unnecessary, all thanks to Dangote refineries
Meanwhile, those gala hawkers who knew nothing about economy would start yarning dust on this thread
The question you failed to ask yourself is, are we supposed to be importing fuel at all? .
Successive government has failed this country.

Yeah Asaba seems to be a cool calm place, enjoyable when there is money in the pocket. Transportation is expensive especially as they buy fuel at more cost than Lagos. Average bolt ride cost me 10k ie from airport to hotel. I visited a couple of times last year.
As per hotel yes they seem quite pricey for what you can easily get in Lagos for less especially for the average - 1 to 1 star hotel. I think you get a better bargain for higher end hotels. Eg my hotel if choice is best western elomaz on dbs road, a bargain considering staying in a hotel if that standard in Lagos. I use to pay 55k last year for one of the entry level rooms, omo the pool side is where all the correct chicks from all over the SE and beyond hangout (if you know what I mean). If no room at elomaz then spring hill hotel opposite elomaz is the next place of choice.
The good thing about those two hotels is their complimentary breakfast buffet, that saves you cost of feeding in the mornings.
For regular meals I go out to get authentic local chops at mamas kitchen on dls road, a drop by chartered tricycle is 1k unlike when I was a novice and getting bolt ride for 5k lol.
Meals at mamas kitchen cost me like 4k with water, not bad compared to hotel food.
All in all, Asaba is not too bad expenses wise, to stay in a hotel like best western in Lagos, you likely will cough out well over 150k.
I noticed that too. Last year February i was in a hotel just after ShopRite( can't really the name again) i paid 20k for the room.
Was in Lagos too and got a hotel in ikotun. Nice hotel for around 15k, just that the area is not posh but i love the hotel( can't the name also. I'm terrible with hotel names)

Once a governor defects to the APC, governance often mutates into a grotesque performance of entitlement.
The hunger to impress vanishes. Complacency creeps in like mold—quiet, stubborn, and destructive.
Innovation dies not with a shrug. Decisions that once sparked growth are replaced by ceremonial nonsense, photo-ops, and recycled rhetoric.
And now Akwa Ibom, a state that for over a decade stood as the eastern corridor’s vanguard of growth, risks being lobotomized—its strategic edge dulled by party loyalty over public service. I’m genuinely alarmed.
Thank God Enugu, Abia, and Anambra haven’t bent the knee to the center. That disalignment is a strange blessing—it keeps governors alert, uncomfortable, and thus able. Because when re-election isn't guaranteed by party machinery, performance becomes the only real currency.
You see that your last sentence? That's the truth right there

Do you know how much each attack helicopter and jet cost? Not to mention each missile cost ? America can afford to risk one jet for one American citizen cos they have dozens of equipment, they sell war equipment across the world , so let's not compare , no African country can afford to expose their limited war jets up and down bro, let's be honest with ourselves, it cost a lot to run a war or insurgency and Nigeria can't afford it , Gej did the best thing by outsourcing the operations to private contractors but buhari cut it short cos of parochial interest.
But they can expend that same missile in Ihiala in Anambra state where a gunship went on a bombing spree abi? There are clips of massacre of villagers in Mbosi, Ihiala, Anambra state
Be there deceiving yourself, not me.

The school of thought is most arsenal in our air force are priced asset... Meaning that you weigh the importance of every operations to the smallest details.... So operations are very risky especially for attack helicopters... Since boko haram have technicals that can hit them at their range.... One of the plans of executive outcomes then was that after finishing their operations they will transfer knowledge on how to engage terrorist on low altitude, cuz their operations then had good elements of surprise... But as we know it failed cuz they terminated their contract when buhari came.
Secondly for operations using high altitude such as jets and drones... Our pilots haven't mastered how to coordinate the avionics of the jets and signals communicated with them on ground.... It's why you see those mishaps whereby bombs flying distances from their target and hitting civilians....
So in summary if their are no clusters of terrorist... The cost of dropping a bomb from a jet outweighs the risk... Na why boko guys move in series of clusters towards a target... That way you can't decide who to go after, especially if the intelligence from the ground is bad... There's lot more I can explore further but let me stop here
Alright i appreciate your calm and detailed explanation. I understand everything you mentioned but i will still say they are not trying. America will be willing to risk or even deploy any of their armament just to save one lousy American bum. No questions asked! There is nothing like prized assets where precious human lives are involved.
And is it not ludicrous that up until now they can't man some of these equipment? It's shameful to say the least. When you are purchasing a fighter jet or a gunship, some of your personnel are trained alongside. It's part of the deal. Telling me they don't understand how to use this equivalent is horrible.
There is a sinister motive behind the government's failure and no well-intentioned lie can masked this. In due time it will be public knowledge.

Obi I understand your concern with the situation but it's not as straightforward as it is.... The Air Force is very very very essential in that theatre of war but at this point it's not up to capacity. There's total chaos and confusion as to what's going on.... Some top guys have retired and are ing private contractors.
Are you telling me the NAF does not have enough equipment to prosecute this war
