Who be this? NEFGAD ko, na nefarious. For context of the ignorant, the Lagos Calabar coastal highway is arguably Nigeria's biggest infrastructure project ever. It is 6lanes highway with provision for railroad in future.
Lagos ibadan expressway is 127km.
Third Mainland bridge is 12km.
Niger bridge or Onitsha bridge is 1.5km.
2nd Niger bridge is 1.6km/12km. Your favorites avoided building it and used it as campaign promises for over a decade.
Your governors commission 1km roads and fly overs once in 4years. But you have a problem with commission of completed 30km. You hypocrites deserve hell.
Just pretend to be realistic and rational for 5 minutes. We all know how continuity is a problem in this country.
So they've completed 4% of the project in 1year. In essence, by the end of Tinubu's first tenure, we can infer that 12% would have been completed.
Let's say he wins in 2027. We can also infer that another 16% would be completed in 2031 when his tenure elapses. That's 28% completion. Let's say 30%. What then happens to the remaing 70%?
Because the probability of another istration not continuing that project is like 0.7.

About the jerk when you engage Gear
From my little experience of using a car, i noticed people don't make use of handbreak while parking their car, they just move the car from D to P which is bad and that's the cause of the jerk. I don't know the solution to that cos even my car does that and some other cars I've driven.
But here's what i do. Whenever you want to park your car, With your foot still on the break, Put the car on N, engage the Parking break, remove your legs from the break to allow the car rest on the parking breaks then shift gear to park. If you do this as i mentioned, you'd notice that the next time you shift thr gear from P to R/D. You won't notice the Jerk.
The Jerk is caused because the car weighs is resting on the Gear which in time has an effect on the gear and sometimes even do more damages to it. Try this and let me know if it works
So I tried this but it didn't work. Before now, an electrician assessed the car and suggested that I might have to test another brain box on the car.
Is it possible that a faulty wiring could cause this jerking?

Hi,
From my experience, here is the cheat code to the simplest and easiest technique to size a perfect off grid solar ess system.
1. Calculate on average how much energy you use daily eg 15kWh ie 15 units of grid (NEPA) light
2. Get a battery that is equal in capacity to your daily average energy consumption eg 14 - 15kWh
3. Then size with pv that is half or close to half the battery storage capacity eg 7 - 7.5kW s
4. Then get an inverter that can carry the max total load power during your daily consumption cycle (ie what is the max power you use when all your needed devices are turned on).
So let’s assume with your major appliances turned on you consume a max of 3kW (maybe when microwaving food, boiling water etc). You then get an inverter that is minimum 1.3 x the max power, so in this case a minimum of 1.3 x 3kW power = 3.9kW. So a 4kW and above inverter is good.
Example: following the above, for a 15kW average daily total consumption, you will get a 14-15kWh battery, 7-7.5kW s and a 4 - 5kW inverter.
If you size your system with this method, you will be 100 percent off grid and will have two (2) days of autonomy i.e if rain falls and there is poor yield, your battery will still last you the night of poor yield (2 nights if you add the night before poor yield day).
What if your load demand then increases?
It’s simple if divide the new average daily load by the former average load and multiply the answer by every part of you off grid system.
Eg, if you now consume average of 20kW daily
20kW (new) / 15kW (old) = 1.33
So 1.33 x 15kWh (former battery capacity) = 20kWh for new total battery capacity
1.33 x 7.5kW s = 10kW for total pv
1.33 x 4kW inverter = 5.3 so lets say 5.5 - 6kW inverter
So 20kWh total battery, 10kW total pv and 5.5 - 6kW inverter is what you need you system rating to be in order to accommodate the new average daily load of 20kW.
Conclusion:
This is my personal, practical and researched method. Anytime you use it on the field or personally, , knowledge shared is the best reward for knowledge that was gained.
I'd give this 1 million likes if it were possible.
This is true knowledge. I'm going to screenshot this.

If the landlord says you should not install an AC on his property for some cogent reasons eh if it's an old building and the walls are weak, I think the tenant should respect those wishes or move to another house
This is one of the reasons there's tenancy agreement. If the landlord didn't state this in the tenancy agreement, he has no right to damage the AC, and he could be sued. On the contrary, if he did state it, then the tenant deserves whatever that's coming.

Good day, guys. My 2004 Corolla Jerks whenever I engage the gear, except when parking. I've changed all engine sittings but the problem still persists. The mechanic referred me to a guy who fixes gear. He serviced the gear body, but the issue still persists.
What should I do next?
Secondly, I get bumpy rides whenever I drive at low speed, even when the road is smooth.
I took it to the alignment guys, they said I should change tire. I did, but the issue still persists.
Please, what should I do?
Thanks for your responses in advance.

Yea, mentioned so earlier. DC current are prone to energy losses. I guess if you may have to compensate for the long distance using thick cables
So to resolve this, I'd have to buy 10mm². That's like 220k for 40yrds. I'd just have to manage it like this.
My battery is just 200ah. If there's moderate sunlight, I get around 35 to 38amps current. On average, the battery gets filled up around 2PM.

The emboldened is not exactly correct. Infact, the controller can still output a little above the 720w max for a 12v connection and 1440w for a 24v connection
During my 12v days, I had 4 units of 550w broken s on my roof, but I only connected 2 units in series to my Powmr controller using 6mm2 cables for a distance not more than 25meters.
I frequently hit over 720w at peak sunny periods. First attached picture shows the controller doing 762w on one of such days. The other pictures are my broken s. Around same time too, one of us here (Tripple.dots) reported output of over 1500w from hi Powmr controller for a 24v connection.
I suspect you may be having issues with energy losses due to distance from your s to your controller and the size of your cables as well. The originality of your s and how they are connected is also a factor here.
Try disconnecting everything and connecting again. If issue persists and you are in Lagos, you can reach out and we can discuss how we can test with another Powmr controller, just to exclude the possibility of the issue being from there. I will have 6mm2 cables next week, so we can also remove the 4mm2 cables you have there and replace with 6mm2 and observe further. Lax and conditions will apply
I'm in Port Harcourt. The PowMr I'm using is different from the one u attached. Mine is the HHJ60-PRO version.
I also don't think it's from the solar s. Sometimes it gets to 600w+ and then drops to 27w and then goes back up again. It does does continously as long as the high sun's intensity is sustained.
However, when the sun drops a little to where the PV production is sustained around 577w and below, that up and down loop no longer occur.
|
Nteogwuija(m): 6:00pm On May 08 |
So I made a post yesterday, where I said that I moved my solar mount to a different location and I was getting around 700w as against 500w.
Well, it seems that'd be the first and, I hope it's not, the last time I'd get such output.
I noticed today, as the sun was high, when it's closer to 600w, it goes back down to around 27w and then gets back to 600w, as long as the sun's intensity stayed the same. It's just like a loop. It normalizes where the production is around 577w and below.
So I'm suspecting that PowMr might have overstated the PV's maximum capacity of the 12v at 720w, when in reality it's just 600w.
I might be wrong, though. It's just my layman observation. Maybe the experienced folks can help me understand what actually is going on.

Why can't they just improve picture quality and charge 10k?

For science, I think you have actually created another problem by using a 4mm cable in a 12v system, that's like 58A running through your cable line at peak hours since you are over led. Please make sure your breaker is properly sized. Enjoy your investment
It's connected in series. Only 13.6a runs through the cable. The wire from the cc to battery is 6mm², since I'd be getting higher amps from the cc to battery.

So, I was able to move the solar mount from the side of the building to an open space where the building won't shade the s.
Bought another 26yrds of 4mm² to add to the 20yrds that was connected b4, making it a total of 46yrds of 4mm² from the current position to the charge controller.
I got around 700w at 1PM from the 1050w. When it was beside the house, by this time I'd get around 100 to 150w. Even when the sun hadn't shaded the fully at around 10 to 11AM, the highest I would get was around 500w.
The PowMr charge controller's limit is 720w. So if I'm getting 700w, I don't think I can complain anymore.
So, apparently, the fault wasn't from CWorth's , neither was it from the charge controller. The s were heavily shaded.
From my experience, I could say that excessive shading can limit pv's production up to 50% and higher.

You don't just wake up and ban something, you should work till you know your country is producing enough of it before you ban importation of it.
