If all these are happening to Southafrica when their people were attacking black people for just coming to their country, i'd have been happy, but it's not - it's happening when they're standing up for the oppressed. I them now more than ever.
Erm... Did I hear them say the economy is struggling due to power outage? 😂
This is what we've been going through for 60 years and we still built a 500 billion dollar economy, imagine if we have power. The easiest way Tinubu can get us to a Trillion dollar economy is to fix power.
Of course

I told them long ago when they chose xenophobism as employment I said a day will come chicken will go to the market and never return so since they think they have it all things can change and where or who will they turn to then? Nobody, and they wlil be left in the wilderness of confusion and that is what is going to happen to them.
Truth is bitter but truth is truth every thing you do to your fellow human to dehumanised him.or her the nemesis will surely bounce back on you in different way one good day.

This is not nemesis but a case of bad policies

Cleanliness and infrastructure are NOT everything. I wouldn't mind living here. And he doesn't seem worried about crime at all. Lagos, you'd be worried about crime as a foreigner

I have held leadership positions from NYSC down to my Current role as Head Of Class(HOC) for medical biochemistry LASUCOM. Leadership is service, what's happening in Nigeria is rulership not leadership. They claim subsides must be removed yet they refuse to reduce cost of governance. 150 million to buy a car, 21 billion to renovate a VP house, not to build ooo, etc. So you remove subsides to grow the economy and you didn't reduce cost of governance to grow the same economy you claim to help. I vividly in 2009, Obama reduced cost of governance to save USA from economic recession. Yet Nigeria who doesn't have money to spare can't do the same, like USA did in 2009. I will keep saying it "NIGERIA is not a country, is a contraption. Because no country who faught for its independence will continue in this way of mediocrity. I repeat no country"
You have not held public office where you are surrounded by thieves. If you happen to be a thief too like all of our politicians, then you will realize quickly that the inspiration to be clean and different is non existent. I digress
To the best of my knowledge, the VPs house was renovated with #5bn not #21bn. I don't know where you are getting that from. Do you know that each time a new VP occupies Number One Observatory Circle in America, the house gets renovated. Kamala Harris renovated it with over $4m.
Which Obama reduced cost of governance? The same one that expanded government spending abi another one? People like Newt Gingrich rebuked him for that.
Obama leaves behind a budget with higher
entitlement spending, lower discretionary
spending, and (temporarily) lower net
interest costs than originally projected. The
ballooning national debt leaves taxpayers
liable for exorbitant debt service costs
when interest rates return to normal
levels.
It was also Obama that ordered the latest fleet of Air force One. Not for himself but for the presidency. I'm not sure the planes arrived when he was still in office.
Nobody is saying our political class are not thieves but at least we have someone now doing something about our micro and macro economic performance.

You have no sense and have refused to have any.
It is about how the issue has been managed, its negative impact on the socio-economic conditions of the masses and the hypocrisy of those you so cherish and make excuses for thier greed. It was senseless to remove subsidies and devalue the currency at the same time without making adequate provision for the expected shocks.
Like I said, people like you also justified the incompetence of buhari, so nothing new.
Look at this one talking like an illiterate. That's what most illiterates said. We were printing and borrowing money to pay subsidies and naira, so which one of the two should they have continued with? Both had to go. They would ruin Nigeria's future and create another Sri Lanka. Look at Lebanon and Argentina today. Is that what you want for Nigeria? Look, Nigeria is on track now.
Hold your governor too. He's receiving a lot of money now and should do something about food production. Everything is not about FG

Our stock exchange has never had it so good in recent years. If people don't trust the economy would they invest in it? These are the kind of things that helps a country's future. Not the lies we lived under the PDP and buhari. These policies are good. Everything will balance out but we need to start somewhere.

You are the one living in delusion and self denial.
Keeping hiding under atiku and obi's skirts to justify the incompetence and greed of bat.
Which economy has grown? Because they keep funneling funds to thier businesses you think businesses are growing?
Look at most FMCG companies, they seem to have increased revenues, but the sales are far lower. Increasing prices of goods and services without commensurate increase in sales and capacity utiliasation is not a sound strategy.
You keep excusing the political class for its greed, but somehow think it is OK for the masses to accept the continued deterioration of thier socio-economic conditions... does that make any sense to you?
Like I said, you and your kind gave the same excuses for buhari, so no surprises.
You are not making sense at all. Okay, should subsidies be brought back then? Yes or no? Since that's why most of you are crying

Bat is a greedy oaf. That he took to the streets does not mean everyone else is evil like him, chasing selfish agenda and disguising it as fighting for the common good.
Pdp was also gradually removing subsidy without impovershing the masses. Now, it is bat and his cronies that are benefitting from the subsidy removal.
That atiku and obi said they would remove subsidy does not mean they would have done it in such an incompetent manner as bat, and if they did, I am sure you and bat would be the first to carry placards to achieve selfish aims.
Bat favour nigeria's future? You are seeing socio-economic conditions worsen before your very eyes, yet you say bat has a plan... what plan? To make Nigerians poorer while he and his cronies become richer at the expense of the masses?
Keep excusing the incompetent and greedy oaf. You also did same for buhari, so no surprises.
Which one of them is not a greedy oaf? Is it Atiku that stole Nigeria blind as VP or obi whose people were raining curses on him when he was governor?
That should tell you they're all the same. But removing the subsidy and stopping naira are the right policies right now to put Nigeria on track. In the last two years the economy has grown though slowly and investors are coming back. Check the stock exchange data. Food inflation and general inflation are coming down. Unless you want to deceive yourself, then you will accept the fact that the political class will not cut its own emoluments. They don't.

Why is it now that you, bat and the rest have suddenly realised that N215:$1 is too low and fuel at N145 is too cheap?
When you were all protesting, didn't you all know that paying subsidies and borrowing to the naira was bad?
You cannot preach righteousness without first owning up to your deceit. If circumstances have changed, then bat should come out and say so, and not act as if he is some sort of evil demi-god. The arrogance is nauseating.
Yes, they are all thieves, agreed. But at least the pdp had been consistent about subsidy removal and not lying like bat.
Who stopped you from protesting now? You can as well take to the streets like BAt and his followers did.
Why did Jonathan cave in if he was truly serious about it? Did you know that it wasn't only tinubu who said he would remove subsidy? Atiku and obi said same thing. Under pdp the subsidy thing was an absolute mess. They were just cashing out anyhow, even worse than buharis time. Wo, they're all thieves but at least this one seems to have a plan that can favour Nigeria's future

That you have probably not held any leadership position does not mean others have not.
When bat was against reforms in 2012, what was he?
What is the sense in reforms that enrich the political class but impoverish the masses? You think bat and his cronies not stealing? Someone that has populated his government with known thieves.
Bat is a liar and deceitful character and his whole history proves it.
Ok. They should have just continued paying subsidies and borrowing money to the naira.
BAT is a thief, just like Atiku and Obi and the rest of them. None is clean

I am talking about the political class. Have you seen any political office holders cut down on expenses?
You talk about subsidy thieves and forex manipulators, why hasn't the government gone after the economic saboteurs? Was it the masses that were manipulating the subsidy and forex markets?
Where buhari and bat better when they were in the opposition? Given thier antecedents, did they show any sign of liking the masses?
Anyway, usual excuses for incompetence and greed...
By the time you handle a leadership position you will understand better. No politician likes you. But it's better to have someone who would come with helpful policies than a liar who would continue to ruin the economy but still steal

And why must the masses bear the brunt of the reforms?
While does the political class continue to bask in excesses?
Because they're in the majority so they'll feel it the most. That's not to say the moneyed class don't feel it too. Subsidy thieves and forex roundtrippers who used to make billions per day also won't like this government. Some of them are in a coalition against the present government. Meanwhile they're not better and they also don't like the masses

Ask your American friend what those made in Ghana products are...
That are found in American supermarkets.
To prevent the spread of false narratives.
Apart from gold, Cocoa which they are a major world supplier, palm oil and the other "natural" resources they export Ghana doesn't produce anything significant talkless of exporting them. I am talking of finished processed goods.
Ghana's economy is import dependent even more than the Nigerian economy.
A small nation that depends on other countries even for her food needs.
I believe Nigeria that is technically at war- bokoharam and with many security challenges etc still produce more food to meet local consumption compared to Ghana!
You talk about Ghana exporting gold Palm oil and other natural resources. What does Nigeria export other than crude oil? Ghana is also one of the largest exporters of cocoa.
Nigeria used to be among the largest exporters of cocoa and palm oil. Where are we today?
