The two brothers that attempted suìcidê at #Aku road Nsukka this morning has been rescued.

They climbed their father's house and demanded to be settled or they will not come down and even if they do without settlement they will bùrn down their father's house.

How they were rescued....

The team of rescuers led by the local govt chairman Engr Jude Asogwa Chinedu himself stormed their house.

Started begging them to come down and they refused and didn't even answer anybody.

After a while, they noticed bloòd stains on their bodies and blòod was was gushing out from different part of their bodies.

It took the courageous ones to device a means and climb up only to notice both of them are already weak and bleêding, they used bottles to wound themselves on top of the roof.

One don already faint on top of the roof and the second person is weak and bleeding too.

That's how they overpowered them and rescued both of them.

Thanks Engr #Jude_Asogwa.... You acted like a leader and a human being today.

Democracy is so beautiful when practice in the right manner but the way African politicians are going about it, is indirectly inviting the military to take over. Ordinarily,once there is a coup d'tat,the masses should in unison rise against the junta but people are beginning to think otherwise, people are now doubting what they used to believe in.Africans in particular have had bitter experiences with the sit tight serial looting political leaders and people are asking for a breath of fresh air.
Socio economic and political analysts thinks that military government is cheaper for Africa,no parliamentarians,laws are made by Enacting decrees.
However,I'm of this school of thought that 'govt of the people by the people' still remains the best system of governance,democracy is beautiful.it gives total liberty to the people and a say on how they are governed.

No fewer than 18 people were killed in coordinated attacks across several communities in the Orsu Local Government Area of Imo State on Sunday.
The killings occurred in Umukabia, Eziawa, lhitte Nasa, Umuhu, Amaoku, and Amaebe.
Victims were left with deep machete wounds, sparking fear and outrage among locals.
A former Chairman of the Nigerian Human Rights Commission, Prof. Chidi Odinkalu, who hails from Orsu, brought attention to the development via his X on Monday.
It was gathered that the tragedy followed the annual masquerade festival celebrated in Umuhu, Amaoku, Amaebe, and neighbouring communities.
After the festivities, some locals, including holiday returnees, gathered at a drinking t.
ers-by later discovered all nine people in the t, including customers and attendants, lying in pools of blood with machete wounds.
"Everybody in the t, all nine people were discovered dead, either customers or attendants, they had been butchered with deep machete cuts all over.
"We were just a few blocks away from there and nobody heard any sound of gunshot or argument.
We suspect that of the Indigenous People of Biafra and Eastern Security Network that were behind this."
He added that three corpses were discovered in Umukabia, consisting of family , five corpses in Eziawa village, and another five corpses in hitte Nasa, all with machete cuts on the same day.
"I can't explain how these incidents happened and nobody noticed. Three people in Umukabia, five in Ezinwa, and another five in hitte Nasa villages and nobody saw the killers come in nor when leaving.
Orsu lost 18 promising lives in one day.

The Commissioner of Police of Abia State,
Danladi Isa has paid a visit to a military checkpoint at Umopara, Umuahia South LGA of Abia State.
The checkpoint was on Wednesday, attacked by unknown gunman who reportedly killed two Army officers who were on duty at the checkpoint.
The who arrived at the checkpoint at 10:30hrs alongside his entourage, conducted an operational patrol at the checkpoint.
He used the visit to interact with Lt. Imran Adamu
Musa and his team, who are on ground.
In collaboration with Lt. Musa, the patrol extended to Onuimo in the Obowo Local Government Area of Imo state which shares a boundary with Abia state.
During the operational Patrol, Danladi made critical security observations and provided advisory recommendations to enhance the safety and security of the area.
