If food price inflation comes down, just know it’s not because of anything innovative the government has done. It’s because of importation. However the success of this strategy is dependent on stability or volatility of the exchange rate. If the exchange rate keeps deteriorating, it ain’t gonna help sort food price inflation and food security. 2 Likes 1 Share |

omonnakoda: Summary of the matter is…. Money is a tool for mind control. An illusion people keep chasing after, rather than being in sync with nature to improve their standard of living. The picture below explains it better. 2 Likes |

Inflation rate in Burkina Faso reduced from 14.1% in 2022 to 0.7% in 2023. Source: African Development Bank. Something Tinubu will never accomplish in his wildest dreams. Putindbutt: Your attempt at deflecting from the obvious is pitiable. Are you pretending not to see the following institutions in the screenshot? 1. IMF 2. UN's Food & Agricultural Organisation 3. the World Food Programme 4. Nigeria's Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. Are you still itching to play the ostrich or deflect with "IPOB" as your way of escape? Meanwhile, I can see you've conveniently turned a blind eye to this report from the world bank hmmm? https://nairaland.sitesunblocked.org/8411171/outrage-over-world-banks-report#135164969 |

MT: Flood the local refineries with crude oil at naira denominated prices. That will tackle rising inflation rate and exchange rate instability. So far, the bulk of Dangote refinery’s crude oil stock is imported. Meanwhile Nigeria has unsold crude cargoes. Absolute madness. 1 Like |
