Honorable minister, the president recently allegedly approved the appointments of healthcare professionals as FELLOWS to work at primary healthcare levels to drive and monitor federal government's interventions towards building a robust primary healthcare, but up till this moment, we haven't heard any other thing from government pertaining to that wonderful initiative.

What is really happening That noble idea must not be swept under the carpet. We all know the roles of primary healthcare in attaining universal health coverage (UHC) as it helps to provide quality healthcare to the greater majority of Nigerians who dwell in rural areas. The Tinubu istration should ensure to follow up with that idea and other great ideas that have been proposed to put the Nigerian healthcare system on the right track for the benefit of Nigerians!

Kudos to Tinubu's istration as it appears determined to revamp the nation's health sector! We're keenly watching!

The main reason Nigerian leaders tend to go abroad for treatment is SECURITY, not that there is no place in Nigeria that can treat them.

They fear that political enemies might infiltrate a hospital staff member who might poison them etc etc..
