This match I started watching in the second half,they are not very poor. I think their finishing is poor as the Brazilians are not as impressive as we all thought they would

Falcons didn’t step up their game today as the Brazil team was really not excellent. Wrong line up by the coach honestly. No need benching your best wingers in Uchenna Kanu and Asisat Oshoala if the replacements (Echiegini and Ihezuo) can’t even control ball. Even the Esther Okoronkwo introduced at half time sef, no impact.

They can definitely do better than this.

BTW: Halimat Ayinde’s experience was sorely missed.

Echegini is not a midfielder. Apart from the fact that she plays like a striker who ghost into the box, she's not technical. I don't know why she's deployed in the midfield. She should be deployed in the forward role while a more technical midfielder plays in the midfield.

Personally, I think the same midfield which won 4-0 against Ethiopia should be utilized. It was a 3-man midfield which was quite good with the likes of Efih, Ajibade and Payne. Or the midfield could go with the one which won 5-0 against Cape Verde, although that was Abiodun's show who played in the midfield in that cape match and was the Motm. Anyways, a 3-man midfield of Abiodun, Payne and Ajibade should be good enough. These players are technically adept.

As for the attack, Iheuzo shouldn't be playing tbh
even if Oshoala is injured, considering the likes of Kanu and Esther Okoro are available. The trio of Kanu, Esther and Echegini should be in the attack, if Oshoala is injured. Not Iheuzo nor Onumonu.

In defence, Ucheibe should be moved to the defence (left back) like she played in some of the qualifying matches. There are even some players who were left out of the squad such as, Imuran and Esther Akudo. These two played in the 4-0 win qualifying match against Ethiopia for example. The 4 man defence was:

Alozie - Demehin - Akudo - Imuran.

And it was a good match.

We really needed Plumptre and Asisat in this match.

I think the falcon team which won 4-0 against Ethiopia should be deployed. It was a 4-man defence of Alozie, Demehin, Akudo and Imuran behind the 3- man midfield of Efi, Ajibade and Payne, with an attack trio of Oshoala, Kanu and Onumonu. Eventhough the likes of Imuran, Akudo, Efi are not available however, a similar team can still be deployed.
