The problem with most of Africa, including the likes of Kenya and Nigeria is that these countries are historically embedded with tribal/ethnic/religious divisions.

These differences act as a catalyst for corruption and violence thereby hindering economic growth and prosperity. They also hinder the creation of powerful institutions and national systems anchored on meritocracy.

Without the above, it is nigh on impossible to create stable infrastructure that is critical for economic development.

Everyman for himself becomes the name of the game.

The political class are experts at this game, so they continue to divide and conquer us through religious and ethnic lines while they enrich themselves till perpetuity.

Some African countries will not stoop this low.

I know Nigerians won't do this because they understand that it's someone's business..... Nigerians are never a thief.

Poverty is the cause of situations like this. African leaders are big failures. The only African leader who worked for the betterment of his people was Gaddafi of libya. All others are only there for the money and the next election.

The only difference had this happened in Nigeria is there will no pictures capturing the faces of the looters.

Just before and after pictures of a fully laden overturned truck and an empty overturned truck.

Tribalism and religion has nothing to do with this. No tribe or religion teaches this thing. This is a societal teaching. This is as a result of poverty mentality. When an organism believes it's living conditions are poor, it will choose survival over morals. The same westerns will go into survival mode once they believe the living condition is at a critical point. These incidents always happen in low-income environments, never in high-income environments. So religion and tribe cannot teach this.

Abeg spare us the epistle. We've seen same happened even in western world. Not all time you people should look down on Africans.
It's just human instinct to want to lay hands on free goodies and last time I checked, human instinct has nothing to do with race

Shhhush! Africa..this, Africa that.
Do you even know shit about Africa?
Is the word 'Looting' an African language?
Go to America and Europe and see real looting when they find the opportunity.
Who is using their influence and power to impose and those bad African leaders? Isn't it the same West?
Visit Botswana, Rwanda, Seychelles, Cape Verde or Namibia and see real African development.
Stop being a white man's ass-licker and the likes of young military leaders setting Africa free.

I have seen people, flipping malt drinks that were on unstable crates into their pockets and conductors sharing it with their engers. As those weak crates are about to fall off the lorries that was still in motion stalkers will prey on them before they crash land
