Okay, check your charge controller if it can take a pv array voltage of 150v.
If so rearrange s to 3 in series and parallel.... Likely the faulty,
Attached is the charge controller information, I think it can take 150v or what do you think ?

Okay, thank you sam.

You are Even very good to go, since you have 6 s, do the 3 series.

How come it's written 100a yet it bears the configuration of 80 amps. Alaba boys?

Lol I'm taking from experience. I bought 120 amps felicity solar charge controller but 100 amps was delivered with 120 amps sticker. This was with the old design as 100 and 120 amps have same dimensions but this is the ist time seeing this with the new design as I want to believe 100a should be bigger than 80a charge controller. You can by checking the charge current under options, as if it's truly 80a then that will be the maximum you can input under the current option.

That's if even that configuration of 80Amps corresponds with the internal circuitry. Who knows, e fit no even be Felicity to begin with.

Let me start my own small....

I am wondering where team HF inverter got their low idle consumption....

I am using LF 1.5kva 12V inverter in a very small project, toroidal coil, idle power is 14w

becos of team HF inverter ionate fight, I got a Sako 2kva 12V HF inverter with Mppt charge controller for a test drive.....

RESULTS OF MY TEST

I must be sincere, the Mppt function of the inverter is quite good. I used just one 300w yingli , and by 7:05 am it has started working and producing power....

BUT........

idle power of the HF inverter is 36w!!!
The fans just kept on working when load is on it, I understand, it has to keep the FETs cool, since most of the conversion is done by the FETs...
the noise is quite high for me, considering the small space the installation is placed.

Looking at the solar conversion, which is good. BUT...hmmmmm, Even when the inverter is totally switched off, and the solar is connected, the inverter is still using 35w just to run the Mppt and inverter, while its totally switched off...

This implies that, until it reaches 40w before the battery will start charging..

I had to go back to my LF inverter and standalone CC for maximum benefit...

Even Cworth inverter Fans are Always on with load, no matter how small.

Let me come and start going.....

Please quick question: My solar (Jinko 555W Monofacial Solar ) has a Short Circuit Current (Isc) of 14.07A, 's maximum fuse rating (30A), which would be connected in series. The Required breaker size would be 14.07A × 1.25 = 17.59A, meaning I would need a breaker with 20A, right?(connection from the s to the breaker then inverter). I wanted to confirm if this calculation is correct ? installer said we would need 65a for the setup ?

Most of these installers don't bother knowing why things are done.

Why on earth would you need a 65A breaker for s when your inverter is never going to draw anything close to that from them.

Okay, last month i bought a sako hybrid inverter from a nairalander here (nexus). To cater for the same thing. 3 tanks to be filled at least twice a day. 24v system. Just adding s gradually but so far, it okay. How many litre tank do you fill.

good morning everyone, I know this might not be an issue for others but it's for me.

I use a Sunfield 2kv inverter and whenever I plug in my gadgets (about 200w, 6%, 120va load) the fan of my invert starts spin nonstop and the noise usually drive me nuts, is there a way to configure to start spinning maybe when I start draining about 300w+?

In addition, my brother uses same inverter although he uses a tubular battery and I use a lithium battery.

Please someone should help me 🙏

Sunfield hmm..
Not sure you can modify it sha, but the noise is not that bad grin depending on location.

Do you mean your brother's own is not as loud?

yes, his own isn't. That fan spin makes my serene space noisy. If I had known, I'd have installed it in my flat entrance rather than in my kitchen entrance. cheesy.
It's giving generator pollution without the carbon monoxide grin

That's the annoying thing about hybrid. Reinstall it. Not too late. I hate the fan noise too.

It goes beyond 200w plus. At times a particular "phone charger" can turn ur fan.
Plug in the gadgets in sequence with close monitoring to know the culprit.

In my case a certain infinix phone charger will turn the fan along with the tv. But the moment you disconnect the phone charger....super silence. But my freezer will not turn on the fan at all.

Most fans used in most inverters and cc are not brushless fans. PowMr fan is very very noisy not until i replaced the fan to brushless. The silence I enjoy is 90% gap. Same goes to my inverters.

You can also drop oil towards the centre of the fan. Another culprit is presence of dust. An unconventional way is to reduce the voltage of the fan via a mini regulator ( this is a bit technical though).
