Which mumu proposed this bill? If possible, all different elections should be held on different days with the presidential held last. Because with the education level of the average voter, they will end up voting for who they don't want. With one day voting, candidates who are unfit on their own recognition will end up winning based on the popularity of the president or governor. 22 Likes 1 Share |

Xisnin:I beg to disagree. All election on the same day is preferable as it will eliminate the bandwagon effect of everyone voting for the Government at the Centre in subsequent elections as we had before. It means opposition parties can be chairman of local government areas in Nigeria. Imagine if the last elections were conducted the same day, even Sanwo Olu may not be the Governor today. 28 Likes 2 Shares |

ed! It will drastically reduce the bandwagon effect that comes with a party winning the presidency. With the current structure, once the president is declared, the governorship election is always formalities most of the time; with the party of the president-elect having obvious upper hand. Just imagine Presidential, Vice Presidential, Governorship, etc, elections were organized at once in 2023, LP would have won about 11 governorship seats and over 30 senatorial seats. But I can swear to you that Tinubu and his hordes of fools will not allow this see the light of the day. 18 Likes |

This will be the beginning of the end of many politicians who rely mostly on the outcome of an election for them to make permutation.

bassdow: 6:04pm On Mar 26 |
hmm Are all these in preparation of the Almighty 2027 elections ? First they proposed and currently ing the bill 1. Reps Bill To Resolve Election Petitions Before Swearing-In President-Elect The above have room for loop holes. Nothing stops a sitting President from having a couple of Petitions ready so the moment anyOne else wins, they have their cronies file them and believe you me, since the I in INEC is kinda useless, could take over 3-years and still not resolved hence the current sitting President continues running affairs of the country. 2. Reps To Elevate Court Of Appeal As Final Arbiter For Election No be same one wey get Wike's wife as Judge ? That's in addition to all his other cronies in there. It's really really wonderful. If I could come up with the above without thinking, imagine what they really have in stock. Funny thing be say, Wike might just end up being used. Baba sabi strategy wella. This 2027 election wey dem don dey prepare since 2024 abi 2023 go really dey interesting ooo 1 Like |

Taking good steps 🐾 in the right direction, but in all this, they should a bill that will make vote counting to be in real time, as you cast it's been tally up and counting on a very large screen. So as soon as the voting is concluded the winner is know immediately. Until we get this right we are still joking....
