I have seen and watched several games involving National Under 20 football teams of Nigeria, but i think this particular team currently playing in Morocco is the worst ever team. No drive, no skills, no hunger and no common sense. The so called Yakub, the 2nd keeper that came to substitute Harcourt is another disgrace

This set are almost certainly overage. The keeper Harcourt is supposedly still so young that he will still be eligible for the next U-20 Afcon. Google that man's picture.

If truly they are under 20, then most of them still have up to 20years of football to play. So they have a lot of prospects.

You never can tell; one of them fit become a big Goat🐐 like Messi & Ronaldo or small goat like Yamal. smiley

When you use federal character to select a national team in nigeria rather than talent, experience and match fitness...mediocrity is what you get. When majority of igbo boy dey play for us, that was when we were the best in Afican and a big name in world stage. But nowSMH

Poor preparation and lack of strikers. They pressed well, but couldn't score. Aliyu Zuberu need to get more deadly strikers like Emmanuel Ogboli. grin grin grin

In the days of Yaradua, Jonathan and Obasanjo, we were winning U-17 and Under 20 world cup like water. sad smiley

They lack ion, I back in the day when the likes of Kanu Nwankwo, Celestine Babayaro and his brother and Mikel Obi etc played in the U20 category, they gave it their all and never lost to South Africa and Ghana.
It would have been better for them to lose to Somalia or Niger Republic than Sad Africa which is like a criminal offence in Nigeria

. Any team selected through the Federal Character is always a bad team!

They are good from defender to midfield but after that, no finishing. You see that oliseh guy and that our no 9, they should be banned for life. That stupid keeper that replaced Harcourt should be banned as well.

They are not the worst. The U20 team led by Godwin Uwua in Congo in 2009 was rated as the worst U20 male team despite being over age players still their performance was shambolic, but the mistake was corrected during the world cup when Ladan Bosso was drafted in to lead the team to the world cup.NFF are to be blamed for the abysmal preparation of this team. The coach(Zubairu) might have good plans for the team but those managing the game in the country are the problem. The question is the players playing at the tournament were they selected on merit?

Now that we have the world cup ticket, let's bring in 'experienced coach' like Manu Garba or Samson Siasia to Lead the team to the world cup, Zubairu should stay with the team

Politicians should hands off the NFF for team selection to improve up to the Super Eagles

Traditionally Nigeria have never been good at the U-20 level. The best performances I have seen from Nigerian U-21s are in 1989 (Christopher Ohehen set) and 2005 ( Mikel Obi set) which has a lot of people disappointed when you consider the expectations on a country that had won the U17 World Cup 5 times and more than any nation on earth..it is disappointing

Hol'up! What's wrong with y'all? Were y'all expecting an U-20 team to play like Barcelona or PSG?

This is underage football for crying out loud! They are yet to mature! There legs are still not strong enough to fire shots! If they even played better than their senior team that's when we ought to be worried! The goal of underage competitions is to discover new talents; it's not to play like Inter Milan!
