A Nigerian man, visibly impressed by the systems in advanced countries, has shared a video demonstrating how school buses operate abroad, emphasizing how much they prioritize the safety and lives of children. In the video, vehicles are seen stopping completely to allow children to safely exit a parked school bus and cross the road. No vehicle is permitted to move until every child has exited the bus and safely crossed. The man pointed out the red blinking stop sign on the side of the school bus, explaining that as long as the red light is flashing, no vehicle is allowed to move—no matter what. He further stated that even if it's the police approaching, they must stop immediately once they see the red stop sign light of the school bus. He concluded his video with the words, “God bless America, God bless Canada.” The video quickly caught attention online and began going viral, sparking various reactions. Many Nigerians expressed their hopes for a time when the country would also reach such a level of civilization and concern for child safety. G0odharddick: Your comment is totally off. Na Government wan dey tell private schools how dem go dey operate their school buses? Are the citizens that worse that they can't innovatively come up with something special, for even their own private Business? 7 Likes 6 Shares |

![]() I'm more concerned about the comment section Nigerians actually think saying shit about their own country makes them look enlightened. No, it doesn't! If anything, a quick research into Science of Patriotism would show you people with negative energy towards their country tend to fail in their endeavors (there are research journals on this online) You'll never see Dangote or Adenuga cursing their country. That clown pulled out one random video and tagged it "Advanced Countries" ![]() 32 Likes 2 Shares |

If school bus in Nigeria should be sighted like that by ipob, bandits and Bokoharam, the police may recover the bushes inside thick forest while kidnappers will be somewhere calling families for ransom. God will help Nigeria more, we will get there. However, there are many other things we get better than their owns too. Meanwhile, we are more in population with heavier traffics than them, until they reach our population and still maintain same or better levels before we can say kudos to them

EvilMerodack: There are over 50 Million Patriotic Nigerians living in Nigeria...! Infact, there are more patriotic citizens in Nigeria than most citizens in more advanced nations. A nation's development and advancements are not exactly hinged on the patriotism of citizens but the following: 1. Corruption-free Executives, Judiciary and Legislation. 2. Rule of Law 3. Equitable distribution of resources. 4. Enhanced industrialization and revenue generation and utilisation. 5. Security of lives and properties. 6. Steady power supply. 7. Meritocracy in all appointments from Federal to local government offices. Etc...! Singing and praising corrupt leaders all over social media won't achieve the above... And Patriotism isn't pretending that underdevelopment and corrupt leadership is fine, but calling out poor leadership while ing development strides. ...And, that is not just a "random" video. That's how the system works in these nations, and such can be implemented here by state and local authorities not by online Patriots. 12 Likes 3 Shares |

Zebra crossing doesn't work even when it's everywhere talk less of many non functioning traffic lights. The government needs to evaluate certain things especially ensuring that those so called Lasma for instance I really don't know their work rather than copying everything they see abroad

The funny thing is that the guy behind the video won't stop if he finds himself in such a scenario in Nigeria. The other day, I boarded a bike, and along the way, he drove against traffic lights; I had to let him know it was wrong. We want the best, but we do not want to contribute our quota; we just feel everything starts and ends with elected public officials... We need to build strong institutions and re-orientate the minds of most of us... 6 Likes |

Glimpsetv: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (The sad truth about Nigerians is, they prefer their lies to the truth) OK. 1. CANADA EDUCATION BUDGET : 82 BILLION DOLLARS. 2. NIGERIA EDUCATION BUDGET: 2 BILLION DOLLARS. We cannot afford what the canadians are doing....EVEN IF WE ELIMINATE CORRUPTION. We can't. Nigeria is not earning enough money because our leaders, ESPECIALLY TINUBU....are not serious. Canada has a diversifed economy, high tax intake, industries that export, and as a result, they can afford all the above including good buses. But if we tell you Nigerians to pay tax...and 70% of you don't pay tax to federal and state government...you go shout poverty. If we tell you to vote for leaders other than obi, atiku, tinubu, gej, and company...you go say we cannot chose anyone else. And you dey call for army ruler like traore...who is doing what tinubu is doing, he just dey add 'Death to America' to his own. Call me when Nigerians are ready to face cold hard truths. Until then....I remain the truthful magician, peacefully living on my island. You can abuse me and call me agbado, taxman etc....instead of facing the truth about your leaders. Your country produces less oil than Qatar, yet you want to live like the 1.8m qataris, all 200 million of you, and you keep blaming corruption, until it is your fave politican 's turn to be accused...then you start singing new songs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() 7 Likes 1 Share |

Same man behind the camera will come to Nigeria and throw trash out of his car window. When we travel abroad, we tend to like what we see. We forget that people makes a nation, not buildings.
