But both poverty and wealth can be inconsistent. A poor man can be rich tomorrow and vice versa.

It will take some time for a former billionaire to show signs of poverty because of excess clothes, shoes, cars, etc. But eventually he or she will start wearing rags if help doesn't come.

A poor man can change his appearance through wealth, but if he falls back to poverty, he can camouflage for sometime before true colours of poverty begin to show.
