Ten years ago, I would have found it hard to believe that I would consider leaving Nigeria, as I have always been deeply patriotic. However, the current situation in Nigeria has led me to reassess my commitment, and I am now contemplating relocation.

I am seeking your professional guidance regarding the feasibility of relocating from Nigeria in pursuit of better opportunities, potentially through further education.

I possess a Bachelor's degree in Building Construction and Technology, along with 11 years of experience in sales and marketing, which diverges from my academic background. This has left me uncertain about the most appropriate path forward.
I have several questions that I hope you can assist me with:
1. Should I pursue a master's degree aligned with my undergraduate studies or my professional experience?

2. What can I expect to achieve with a budget of 12 million naira?

3. Which countries can I consider relocating to within this budget, particularly those with accessible residency pathways and reasonable processing times?.

For your reference, I am 36 years old, married, and a father of two, though I do not plan to relocate with my family at this stage. I would appreciate any insights you can provide regarding the immigration process and potential challenges I may encounter given my situation.

Additionally, I have access to 30 million naira, which can serve as proof of funds, although it will be returned immediately upon visa approval.

First Rule, don't go to UK, AUSTRAILIA, New Zealand, CANADA OR USA, You may end up in any of them later on. For now focus on Iceland, China (you can start importing goods from here, and even get free tuition), Sweden (Scholarships yapa), Norway (High HDI index), (Free Tuition available). In any of them ensure you have an online business that targets Markets in big 5 I mentioned, do your program and from begining plan on exiting to the biggest economy in the world in of State (I mean California, preferably San Francisco region). Good luck

My advice learn a global skill, freelance and build your client base with clients from overseas paying in hard currency. You will achieve more here and also being able to build a lasting empire, most people there are looking for access to this funds you mentioned to japada.

Both Hungary and Poland are out of it. There are many other better European countries he could move to. Poland of all places? Polish citizens that are washing car in the UK.

Yes. Things became difficult post-COVID. I don't know why people are wasting 2 years of their life to wait for just an appointment date. It shows how bad things are in Nigeria because people have limited options.

That N5million sorted my UK Msc tuition in 2021 but today, one needs about N42million to pay for the tuition of that same UK Msc program.

Thanks so much for your input .
Believe me 12 million does not have any value when it comes to investing in Nigeria, why do you think most SMEs' are clo? , imagine buying base oil/PMS /AGO/DPK worth 12 million and not being above to make 4% ROI.
Please what global skills are you referring to? Is it related to the concept of Analysis, Collaboration, Communication, Evaluation, Reflection and Research?.

Iceland is a good choice. is solid too. Sweden, Norway and Denmark are very good but very expensive. Czech is solid too (visa appointment is difficult to secure for this country). You could give Czech a try only if you have the proof of funds because if you are to pay bank guys for proof of funds, you might probably not get appointment date for months and you'd just be wasting money paying bank guys.

Austria is good also.

But it is quite surprising that some are itching to japa while others are planning to return.

Human needs are insatiable.

You're right but the truth about those ones coming back is that almost all of them have a second port except the ones that got deported.

So, in case they find Nigeria unbearable again, all they need is to book flight and leave again. They don't need visa.
