Why do you like naming others for your inefficiency. Tinubu conceived and birthed Free Trade Zone In Lagos today the place is filled with industries with Dangote Fertilizer and Dangote. Refinery as Nigeria industry yet you and your people abuse same man but Peter Obi you praised as the best governor didn't to establish one. Now you claim it is marginalisation rather than it your leaders have been sleeping
2 Likes 1 Share |

Ofodirinwa: Free trade zones can work for the local economy if the government stipulates that a certain percentage of slots will be allocated to indigenous firms. At least 50% in my view. 1 Like |

Kemetian: all of these bantustan economic policies have been scamming 3rd world countries for 40 years now and they don't work. None of them work. Why would you allocate slots to indigenous firms? Free trade zones don't work 'New Cities' don't work 'foreign investment' doesn't work. So when all the indigenous firms move there and pay no taxes, what happens to the places they used to be? What happens to the tax revenue they used to pay? Businesses have convinced corrupt african leaders that the business is benefiting the country more than the country is benefitting the business. That is nonsense. Why do check to see what the indigenous firms need to grow and make it available? Nothing is gained from losing tax revenue. 2 Likes |

mrvitalis:When you are importing what you have the resources to produce and can produce even producing, then you go ahead to import it, u kill it. U can't export what you are not producing, those exporters that imports, import majorly what they are not producing or lacking. 1 Like 1 Share |

Good2go1:Igb0s and sincerity are two worlds apart. Buhari also started another rail project from Maiduguri to Port Harcourt that's ing through SE, meanwhile states like Benue Plateau, Kogi, Nasarawa, Taraba, Cross River, Akwa Ibom, Bayelsa etc don't have any of the rail project ing through them, but they are not çryîñg that Nigeria is against them, u Iots should reaIIy be ashamed of urseIves. Pipeline are always designed to take gas from where there's abundance to where there's little supply, it is impossible to take gas from a place to every place without giving out gas in such places, clearly shows u have no idea about gas pipelines. I'm sure the whole glitch happened only in SE? Pàthètîc bunch, can't provide any meaningful statistics to back their marginalization claim other than empty talks that holds no water. Tell us how state govts in SE wants to build this or that and got denîèd but other governors are allowed to do same thing. Tell us how federal allocation is not given to lgb0s, tell us how lgb0s are not allowed to have representatives in national assembly, u lots are reaIIy pàthètic, "marginalization" is a seIf assumed theory propounded by lgb0s. 1 Like 2 Shares |

JagabanBorgu:The idea you don't import what you can produce is primitive economics The fact you can produce something doesn't mean you should produce it... The question is can you produce it's efficiently? That's the most import thing Especially raw materials that other industries depend on 1 Like |

mrvitalis: Hahaha You just realized that you are talking to some kind of empty heads with Zero idea on how economy and production functions😂 The slowpoke you quoted does not know that China is about the highest importer in the world of mostly raw materials needed for their industries. From energy(petroleum )to rare earth metals to semi conductors needed for machines, to agricultural products, to several others. Most of those people on this thread never know the reason for US-CHINA trade war. China is an import behemoth. You can't productive economy without having to import needed raw materials. These are the morons ing fellow moronic leaders implementing stupid policies. |

JagabanBorgu:Yoruba comparison is always funny. We are talking geopolitical zone you are mentioning states. The pH Maiduguri line ed through only two states in SE |
JagabanBorgu: 9:22am |
MXrep:U are so 0bsessed with Yoruba so u think everyone is a Y0ruba. The Lagos to Kano didn't through NE, SS and SE, guess who's çryîñg about marginalization, it's SE. same Lagos - Kano rail es through 2 states in other regions, highest I is 3, the only reason u all talk about marginalization and we keep quiet is because nobody takes u serious. There are so many states in the country without a single railroad project ing through them. You were saying I mentioned states, I didn't mention states, I mentioned states with entire tribes that don't have railroads ing through them yet those tribes are not çryîñg marginalization like u çry babîès from SE. |
