Former Big Brother Naija housemate Doyin David has addressed the tendency of some men to s3xualise women upon first meeting them, focusing on physical attraction without seeking to understand them as individuals. https://thenationonlineng.net/reality-star-doyin-criticises-men-who-s3xualise-women/ 4 Likes |

Her frustration is valid, but she is also very, very foolish. Yes, men reduce women to their physical appearance at first glance, which is understandable since you have to tell them or show them what they’re not seeing—and it ends there. But what she, just like every other woman, often leaves unexamined is that the culture women criticize is also one they help construct. If you invite 20 celebrities to an event, 10 men and 10 women. The men will come nicely or weirdly dressed. The women will wear expensive clothes that covered everywhere except the places clothes where originally meant to cover, the two decently dressed women will cheer them on and snap them for us at home to see. We now live in an era where empowerment is often expressed through hypersexualized imagery. While everyone has the right to bodily autonomy, we can’t ignore the contradictions: the same platforms where women demand to be seen as more than their bodies are often the very ones where many self-objectify for attention, monetization, or validation. Religion teaches that modesty isn’t oppression; it’s intentional dignity. Philosophy reminds us that freedom without restraint collapses into chaos. Academically, we know objectification is a two-way transaction: it requires both the objectifier and the one willingly objectified. So yes, women are more than their bodies. But ability requires examining how they present themselves to the world as much as how the world perceives them. You can’t wear a costume and be angry that you’re cast in a role. If you want a culture that sees the whole woman, you must help build one that honors her whole image—mind, body, and spirit. 138 Likes 17 Shares |

I blame men that believe, agree or take what women say serious. Reason why i can never watch women podcast. I rather spend 20 hours watching mickey mouse on repeat than sit down and listen to women. Why? Because women themselves DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY WANT. I have seen women talk A and in the same day do B. A babe was giving me head and i checked out her Twitter Her latest post was shaming men as only wanting s3x and how she hates guys that request for sex on first date. Imagine reading all her feminist post while i stare at her giving me a sloppy toppy with full saliva. I really really pity men that take what women say serious. 37 Likes 5 Shares |

I think it's both ways. Women showcase themselves as objects to be sexualized & willing men oblige. Much like displaying Oranges for sale, & customers pricing. ![]() 15 Likes |

Women are not forced to dress almost naked. Instagram is filled with girls posting almost naked videos inviting men to sexualize then. Talk to the girls not men.

This is ridiculous! No one sexualizes women more than women themselves. Just look at social media, you’ll see countless girls and women posting provocative content, yet the moment a man responds in a sexual way, they act like victims. It’s the same as men who attract gold diggers by flaunting wealth and then complain when women expect them to spend. If women openly sexualize themselves, they shouldn’t be surprised or angry when men react accordingly. Instead of blaming men, their frustration should be directed at other women. Seriously, who’s the one posting videos shaking their breasts and backsides online? It’s not men! Na podcast dey cause all dis nonsense talk. If she really serious sey she wan be advocate for women make she start to dey tell her colleagues wey dey post sexual content first, na dat time we go take her seriously. 16 Likes |

Women sexualize themselves not men sexualizing women. Gaslighting men is old school, and men are not playing those games anymore. Some call it red pill, i call it common sense.

I guess it all bows down to understanding between the 2 parties and ways to deal with it, In a way it will benefits the both, but come to think of it isn't the females in bbn or nollywood put sexualization and money at the same level.

Nobody will.sexualize you if to an extent you have not given away.such energy. Many ladiies like hugging clothes to show off the properties, look at themselves 11 times in the mirror..turning round about as many times then come outside and pretent they dont know why ..what is going on? You cannot come to me looking like okonjo iweala or obi ekwesili and what am thinking is sex. I see many of them this days going to gym with tight pants. I know its to show off some yansh. Na them kit up . But go to gym and see them...them just de one side de press phone. 7 Likes |

DyshApp: So what is she going to say about women sexualizing themselves.. Or its the usual selective outrage / criticism as usual to trend. The wife abi husband of the French president was caught live assaulting the president and i didnt hear pim from any fake feminist. If the reverse was the case, we wouldn't have heard the last of it. Abeg make una carry una hypocrisy and double standard enter fridge.. 7 Likes |
