Slytiger: Una too mụ..mu... Yorubas started it on twitter of which Davido replied the tribalist, now your uncultured lecturer came online to spew rubbish because of the deep hatred y'all have for Igbo's.. 2 Likes |

The lady didn't mention igbos but may have insinuated it but whatever the case its her choice and even tho generally disappointing doesn't require the outrageous threats she's getting and this is the problem I have with the way certain people overreact and tribal hate comments.

You can see how petty the Faceless Group is. They called out the Ibos for orchestrating the attack on the woman, that wasn't enough, they have found a way to link Obidient Movement to their naked dance and finally Obi has been mentioned. That's exactly what they want to achieve! Take it or leave it, Yorubas are very clannish in all their dealings. Follow them at your own peril. 2 Likes |

ElSudani:Did anyone make a fuss about Davidi claiming to have Igbo blood? Lol, I bet you don't see the irony in that? This very thread is, because some big..oted Yoruba woman had a problem with it. 2 Likes |

jaxxy:She got triggered by Davido saying he has Igbo blood? She doubled down to make an ethnic issue out of it. And now when some people had issues with it she's the victim? What EXACTLY is her business with Davido having Igbo blood? 2 Likes |

DarkJeddi: You have a problem with a Yoruba woman who didn't even mention Ibo in her post. But I bet you suddenly lose your voice whenever an Anambra man refuses to marry someone because she's from Ebonyi. Isn't that hypocrisy. It is like leaving the your own eyes to talk about the speck is someone else's eyes. 10 Likes |

I shocked. I asked am,shey na ibo language u want mk she spk when she grow up ni or hausa. He laughed and said Yoruba language be like noise for ear. I just brushed him off 9 Likes |

madridguy: They are golddiggers only looking for free money and fame. It is the liberality of the YORUBAS that causes all this nonsense. Several years ago (during the military era) as a student at a University in IBO land, a lady, a co-student told me her parent will never allow her to marry an outsider. She told me sorrowfully. Her name is ADAKU, I can never forget that name. Later, I was made to understand that first daughter don't marry outsider according to their tradition. Coincidentally, the lady (Adaku's friend) who told me first daughter don't marry outsider according to their tradition later married a personal friend of mine who is a Muslim from Niger State. We have less than 6% of the total population from the North and they are mainly from Kwara and Benue. Some ladies said the family of the other lady agreed because my friend is a young Alhaji, her father is the MD of a popular juicy Federal Government agency in Lagos and after NYSC my friend is relocating abroad, which means the lady on completion of her degree is going abroad with him. No Yoruba family gives out their daughters because of wealth. Outsiders marry into dynasties in Yoruba land. We have seen people marrying into ABODERIN family inheriting billions for their children. We have seen several marriages from outside Yoruba land into dynasties in Yoruba land. My sister is a victim. You can never find a YORUBA male or female marrying into their wealthy families or dynasties. 13 Likes |

Unfortunately for her, as well as for most of those commenting here either for or against, while she is free to have her preferences, her children when they are of marriageable age will be adults and make their own choices which might not align with her preferences. The kind of petty things we focus on in this country is baffling.

franchasng: How does making sure her children marrying from her tribe equalled to attack on Igbos. Marriage should be bases on mutual interests and if the interests of both parties are opposite, then it is better to avoid each than entering into potential marital and by extension cultural chaos. 7 Likes |

bigpicture001: 1) The lecturer, never reed anything 2) She has a right to write anything on her FACEBOOK page 3) Making sure her children marry from her tribe is NOT an attack on Igbo 4) Anyone bullying her and threatening her should be arrested 5) Conservative Yoruba organisations should step up campaigns to protect Yoruba interests ,including long term cultural interests. 9 Likes |

ElSudani: You are speaking from both sides of the mouth. All these fuss is because of Davido claiming to have Igbo blood. That's exactly what triggered all these nonsense. Ask the woman why Davido's ancestry and marriage should bother her and the so called whatever group? If someone as educated as these lecturer should have this kind of mentality, I wonder how people out there in the streets would think and act. We Africans are seriously in need of God's intervention. 2 Likes |

Bendeco02: When hasn't become a crime for Yoruba to express their desires for Yoruba spouses publicly? This is the critical issue - The attempts by over zealous Igbo ,especially in the Obidients Movement, to silence or denigrate anything Yoruba. This should be resisted and those bullying her be arrested and charged to court. 5 Likes |
