Damnnnnn

Such level of sarcasm.

But, hope you know some may take this in, wholeheartedly?

It’s well…

They need to learn the hard way.

If you tell them the truth, they will detest you.

I have someone in Canada, and he's complaining the same thing.
Everybody thinks it's greener somewhere else.

To be among the rich will always be hard anywhere, even if you are in heaven.

Ah! Heaven too?

I don’t think so bro.

Nothing like big man in heaven.

Everybody there is happy and balling.

If there's no life in the UK,an advance country, then is it in Nigeria that is plaque with different economic problems that is better.

They better start returning back home to live a life of

Unemployment
Insecurity
Bad roads
Dilapidated educational system
Sub standard health care/facilities
Endemic corruption.
The list is endless, living in Nigeria is akin to living in hellfire
..... you forgot to add no Electricity power

The question is ‘is it worth it’?
If you consider what you will spend before japa now, your mouth nor go sharp as e take start. What are the chances of recovering your money in a short while? That’s the issue.

U.K has been like that for a while now.. even the Whites are not finding it funny talk more of immigrants.
The problem with Africans is crowd mentality.. oh because this person has gone abroad, I must go too. Ehnn you don go and your eyes don see am.

Oh Africa, blessed continent plagued with bad leaders and docile people.. where some people sleep outside overnight and still carry on fine the next day.. Go try am in UK or Canada and see if you'd live to tell the story.

Pls what part of Nigeria can you sleep outside and you still have your head or organs intact the next morning..

Lastly, Government should do something about these education agents deceiving Nigerians about opportunities abroad, most Nigerian youths are now stranded because of false assurances from these agents.

If you must work in Nigeria, get a Nigerian degree.. If you go U.K, then don't come back to look for work in Nigeria. Stay there and stay jobless if you don't get job. As simple as that.
That's the only way that Education in Nigeria and Africa will improve and have more worth.

UK:

Unemployment
Underemployment - You have a degree but work as security guard or Uber driver.
High Taxes Depleting your Income
You pay rent.
Road Tax
Car Insurance
Water rate
Monthly hire purchase payment for your car.
Electricity rate
Heating and Gas rate
Child care fees if you are working and have kids. Nothing like ''housegirl'' there.
Council tax
Income tax
TV licence
Phone rate
By month end you're broke.

Otilo.

Only a matter of time before they tax you for the air you breathe.

Of what use is ''good road'' and ''good educational system'' when your life is crap?

There are good roads in Nigeria too. Leave your village and move to Abuja or Uyo or Enugu. Fine roads everywhere and highly secured.

What is ''sub-standard'' about the health care and educational systems? These are the same systems that have produced world class individuals in all spheres, from doctors to engineers and scientists all over the world.

A strong Iroko tree does not grow from weak roots.

Everything African is always ''sub-standard'' in your 'oyinbo' worshipping heads.

People who complain about the UK are mostly those who travelled illegally or with the hope of getting a job after schooling there.

With proper certifications, more often than not, jobs will look for you in the UK...

I know you're joking.

Don’t let anyone lie to you! If there is no life in the UK, why are they still there?

The best thing one can do in Nigeria now is to quit your job, sell your house and all other assets and move to the UK. If you can sell everything in a short time frame and make it to the UK, just know you have made it. They will never tell you that, the UK government will give you €10,000/month for 6 months when you arrive UK.

A country where with 6 months of hard work as a nurse or truck driver, you can be able to afford a mansion in Banana Island.

Don’t listen to naysayers, they don’t want you to come. If you lucky to be wealthy or have parents who are wealthy, start selling anything you can lay your hands on and come to the UK.

Too many jobs in the country and you can never go broke. You can build a 3 story triplex yearly in Nigeria if you hardworking
your are nothing but a clown stop giving dumb advice to people here

It is too much of a sacrifice to go through all that, not having a life just for a so called future of your children, raising them in an environment of very little discipline and wrong gender definitions
crusufixo:

What most peeps dont know is that the japa is for the future of the kids, not the Adults. The kids would have a better chance growing into the system than the adults who are already fully grown.hence, even if it is to sweep the roads to ensure that the kids remain in Uk, the parents / adults would do it. Any full grown adults that think that he / she is travelling abroad to become rich is just making a grievous mistake. The actual context of travelling abroad is to provide an opportunity for their family.....

Living is a risk. But you cannot compare Nigeria with the UK. If you went to the UK legitimately, with the right mindset, your chances of prospering out there outweigh that of Nigeria 10X.

Let them keep deceiving themselves... some people will always complain even if you give them 1m dollars to go live abroad and start life ... They will still complain.

Who in his sane mind would compare Nigeria and UK. Some are bitter becos they dont have the opportunity and resources to japa.

Anymore u doing here in Nigeria , do it abroad will give you a better life. People are making it here , while some will always fail because of mismanagement and lack of planning but the fact is you can compare both standards.

A cleaner in UK can own a house , buy car , go on vacations and still have a decent life. Where as in Nigeria na agony and wailing.

Stop reasoning like a child.

This is how you people end as slaves in Libya, begging Nigerian govt to evacuate you.

A stadium view is what you are using to judge the situation.

What was the point of your education if your reasoning is so simplistic and shallow?
You people should stop discouraging people from coming abroad. I don't know why Nigeria are so wicked to themselves. You always want to look better than your fellow Nigerians so they won't also get the opportunity you got in abroad. God will judge you people.
