There is no rule restricting broke guys to go into any relationship but if you truly love yourself and have respect for yourself, if you are broke, relationship is not for you

Whichever girl you might be dating, boke or rich, beautiful or ugly, if as a guy, you are too broke to take care of some of your girl's needs, someone else would do. Should you now be complaining of cheating?

you’re on point, but let me say this, women always shout “broke guys deserve no love, likewise a woman deserves no loyalty from a rich man”

These kinds of posts get posted every posted every day. Is it the high unemployment rate that is causing this. Nigeria now has high rate of hypergamy as reflected by these everyday talking about woman, sex, relationship, brokenness, dating, etc. Nothing productive in the lives of most youths

I do not think this is really about unemployment but values and principles.

I dont just see any logic in a guy struggling to survive but still want to commit to a relationship that he won't be able to do the normal responsibility. That's double punishment .

Because relationships in Nigeria are highly transactional.
Good advice though.

Bro.

A guy is never rich in his youth in the first instance. You might say tech bros are rich but wealth is measured with individual desires and goals and also taste (when it comes to women) To you they are rich to them they aren’t.

2. A guy is always broke to a girl no matter how much he has. They have this desire to want more, compare themselves to others and they like to play on their partners’ emotion.

What I think you meant to say is build your career with an understanding babe. Because if you say you should wait till you are rich you go old my brother. And being rich does not guarantee you anything!

Relationship na night market!

They don't have to be disabled but as a guy who is working and responsible, you need to play some part in her responsibility though not a must..

Before playing any part in any partner, make sure it worth it.

My purpose for going into relationship with you is not to take care of your needs. If you as a lady cannot take care of your own needs then your immediate priority should be to fix your life , and not to become a burden to someone else.

The misconception is needs don't have to be necessarily be financial

Your mention of brokeness implies it's financial. But whether financial or not, taking care of needs should go both ways. That should be one of the major considerations in a relationship: taking care of each other's needs. "What is good for Greece is also good for Uganda."

If your presence is needed as the boyfriend and you don't even have money for transportation not to talk about should incase, what precisely are you in relationship for?

Lol. It can't be that bad now.
Not having cash at hand is one thing, but not having where to get it urgently is a whole different ballgame entirely.
What I'm talking about is, if I need an urgent 250k to complete a transaction I should be able to call you, now whether you have it or not at that moment is irrelevant, what matters is you should be one of the first persons I think of calling, and not a complete liability. Thats what I mean.

You guys keep having this conversation because y'all believe that a woman is doing you a favor when you go into a relationship with her.

Responsibility? It's a privilege to be given anything by someone you are in a relationship with - once you start feeling entitled to it, you're a leech.

Why do I have to worry about your needs unless you're equally broke, and by your logic, no sane guy should date a broke a**$$ girl either.

What you should say is that, if you're broke, focus on finding a way to leave that state of lack and improve yourself to be of value to yourself and your family - then you can have options to find a woman who will complement your growth, not open a tap on your finances.

They've normalized that stupid mindset, that's why these women are comfortable being leeches.

my broke depth, got me whipp'd, true real.
I could be making calls, only for credits on the network for calls, although the person I'm interested into finds my depth a reason for being an opposition, dem how else could I get her attention daily I've been a patient waited over by eplepsy.

Being in a relationship shouldn't be poverty elevation programme for ladies either. The mentality of our ladies has made relationships to be a parasitic relationship. We always say "anything a man can do, a woman can do better" If a guy that is not broke can date a broke lady, why can't a broke guy date a lady. Make Una let broke guy breath, beside, being broke get levels

It's guys that have been encouraging ladies to be lazy. What's precisely meaning of full house wife? Even those who are yet to be married, some ladies act like a full house wife who is not interested in earning her own money without waiting for the husband/boyfriend

I dislike discussion like this…simply because anyone can be in relationship. either broke or rich…I keep advising people always date your class…….
When I was still in the dating pool being a guy that has an apartment and few cash. I never dated i am hungry kind of girl. or who will take me out girl or video call who is in …or data anyone kind of girl I went for my class….

Let her assume I'm broke, at least I am building myself to get better. What is she doing to get better on her own end? Money is hard to make, you can't just be throwing it around.

A man's power is his money and the folks around him so what does she have to offer that is of my money's value?

I am not her father so I shouldn't be pressured into Spending my hard earned money on her while starving my own dreams and ambitions.
That's her father's responsibility

You are not getting my point. If as a guy, you met a beautiful lady, straight not wayward, you see that her beauty, one way or the other, her ex might have contributed to it which got you attracted in the first place.

Would you now turn a beautiful lady to an old woman overnight all in the name of you being broke and can't keep up.

The keeping up is not a must but it's part of the guy's responsibilities in relationships. If you can't do it, someone else will which will end up in cheating.

It's for one's sake not to get through that process . Fix your brokenness first before keeping anyone up

Such a little broke ass bitch. If u spread ur legs because of money, you're just a glorified olosho. Get yourself a job, add value to your life if any and win the respect of real men. Your bf is not ur dad, stop lowering ur standard if u have any.
