And here is Simone Inzaghi saying bye for now to European football. 2 UCL finals in 3 seasons. Lost both. Won Serie A title. Leaves Europe as coach with worst UCL final defeat. Same Al Hilal are rumored to be after Osimhen and Theo Hernandez. 1 Like |

Osimhen to Liverpool will make sense only if Liverpool are indeed after Osimhen. Right now, Liverpool are trying to get the Florian Wirtz deal of over 130M euros (could hit 150M) over the line to bring him in. Do you see them paying 75M euros after that? Time will tell. 1 Like |

Since you put it that way, then take into consideration that Bruno worked his way up to earn such wages at Man Utd. He didnt become 2nd highest paid from day 1. Bruno is 30. Osimhen is 26. Bruno has every reason now to go to saudi arabia both from a footballing and financial perspective. He is approaching his twilight years. Osimhen on the other hand is in his prime years. So Yes, they are not the same. BankyGee: 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: At 26 if we are honest osihmen may just have one or two more years left at his peak. So leaving out the financial aspect hmmm man has to get his calculations right to avoid too much stories later. 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd:Osimhen has been working too... Since he started his professional career, is he supposed to go from €250k to €120k now? Omo one thing is certain, any decision he makes, I'll always him, whether he takes a pay cut o, or goes to Saudi o, or stays at Galatasaray o... I'm a die hard Osimhen fan, but taking a pay-cut with his achievements at this age is not making any sense to me. No European striker currently that will boast of Osimhen's numbers and achievements will take a pay-cut, the clubs will not even think of bringing that proposal in the first place. 2 Likes 1 Share |

I hope you know the same fans who the Saudi Move wont be able to also properly back him when years from now, we talk about Africa's finest strikers ever. Eto'o, Weah, Drogba earned their stripes and legacies that still stand strong today in the best leagues in the world which is in Europe. The standards have not changed and wont change for Osimhen. I love him. I always have even before the twitter influencers/banger boys took over his attention space but I wont stand by and watch him miss out on a chance to shoot above these greats or even level with them and stand in their league. Money is good. Mathieu Flamini has it all when it comes to money but his football legacy is no bigger than Okocha's. Look at Okocha still reverred even on a UCL night where his former club PSG conquered europe. A good name/legacy in your sport/field is still worth so much more. The Good Book isnt wrong on that at all. Goke7: 3 Likes |

Usually the Liverpool front 3 line up is Salah on the right, Diaz on the left with Nunez or Gakpo up top. Samueltemi337: |

Let us focus on what I said and not what I never said. Osimhen has surely been working. He has so far worked to the level he is at now with 3 major titles garnered so far. He deserved more than 250k euros per week or at worst something close to that for his next move. I stating moving from Italy to England should see an increase and not a decrease as EPL is the richest league in the world. But you see Bruno has worked longer. And is obviously older. He can leave now for the land of Bin Salman and I will say, "well played" not that my opinion matters in the grand scheme of things but till I must speak. Now as for Victor... leaving now for the Saudis in his prime years only because of money is gonna only show that he had no true ambitions of finishing his greatness race. His race is not done in Europe. He knows it, I know it. You know it. Going to Saudi league will put a big dent on everything he has built for his career and reputation as a world class striker. Osimhen's mentor Ighalo, once took a pay cut even when he didnt have to, just to play for Man Utd because it was his dream. He understands the leverage that such association gives him in Europe. Ighalo's status worldwide got instantly elevated as a Man U player because he followed a dream. Now not saying Osimhen should take a pay cut too like Ighalo but I think he should try do everything he can to ensure he doesnt cut short his greatness race. Osimhen has touched heights already but is still short of what he can truly become and that can only happen in the leagues of the best and elites not away from it. Now, it is true he could go to Saudi and still possibly win the Afcon as an haram league player but would that be enough to solidify his name among the greats of the African game? Sunday Mba is an Afcon hero. A nations cup winner. But is he bigger than Kanu Nwankwo who never won the Afcon? Selah...selah.. selah... I just want the best for Victor Osimhen. The same Osimhen who walked into my DM on twitter on Christmas Eve of 2019 months after he ed Lille OSC of . That same guy who says, "If you know where some of us come from, you will not pray for us to fail". Look, all these people around Osimhen now... it is for the fame. It is only very few that truly wants his best. Most want his money. Just his money and that is why to them, Saudi move will be a no brainer. Again, Selah, Selah, Selah... BankyGee: 2 Likes |

TheSuperNerd: APOTY after many years of no Nigerian winning, 2nd highest Nigerian scorer, that's a huge legacy already. For me, he still has more years in the National team, and I am more concerned with what he continues to deliver for the National team rather than all these European-ish wahala. If they don't want him, he can't force himself on anyone, and reducing his wages to please any club may earn him more disrespect. Like I said earlier, it's up to him sha make he think am wella. It's the loss of European clubs to ignore Osihmen, imagine he was in a big club like Real Madrid, Arsenal, or Chelsea, who all struggled to win silverware this season. Perhaps his injury last season scared them all, but just imagine they took the chance like Galatasaray. And that's life, it's a game of chance. After all, who gave PSG a chance to win the Champions League this season, but it has happened like it happened for Galatasaray too, with two trophies. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

APOTY is huge. But Lookman also has one. Ikpeba had one and is no bigger than Okocha who had none. But still APOTY point is huge. 2nd Highest Nigerian scorer. Not much of a huge legacy. If you aint ing Yekini's 37, then nope... Goke7: 1 Like |

And PSG did miss out on Osimhen no thanks to ADL. And still won a major continental title 2 seasons later. Tbh, when I think of how ADL denied Osimhen that move and the fact that same PSG are UCL winners today dey pain me. Ahhh... we move. Goke7: 1 Like |

TheSuperNerd:ing Yekini is no problem as long as he continues playing. 11 goals to go, e no go far. Like I said earlier, if he decides to take a pay-cut to play for any EPL team, I dey with am. It will just set a negative precedent for African ballers, no matter how good you are, Osimhen will always be an example for you to take a pay-cut too, no matter your talent. If he takes a pay-cut, no wam. The Saudi news is still a rumor by the way. Na till Fabrizio Romano post am and he go do medicals for Saudi I go even believe. Selah 🙃 2 Likes 1 Share |

TheSuperNerd: Will Napoli and their fans ever forget Osihmen? No, nah, for me, I look at these players first, their personality and their personal impact, before considering the general worldview. These guys are, first of all, humans just like every other professional out there in any field of endeavour. Osihmen has truly suffered in his career, injuries and all, and this game is not forever, so let's always that. Like I said earlier, it's a game of chance both for the clubs and Osihmen himself. Despite Ighalo playing for Man U, has he ever been seen as one of Africa's finest? So it's relative, I think we are over analysing this issue, let the player decide, but he must not be maligned for whatever decision he makes for his future. He's proven it in different countries, he's a great player, and one of our very finest from our shores. 5 Likes 2 Shares |

I want him to secure that all time Naija top goal scorer legacy soundly before he even hits 30. Osimhen still has much to achieve and much more he can become. Osimhen is a winner. He will any side and instantly infect them with the winning mentality bug. He still has an Afcon title in him. He has a top afcon goal scorer in him. He has another league title triumph in a Big 5 league in him (to add to the Serie A). He has 50+ NT goals before he retires in him. I know it because I will never forget how much I told him before the big fame came sweeping in as I expected. Everything I have told him have come to except two things..... - Becoming Africa's first 100M player. -Winning an Afcon title. Every other thing has happened. I told him he could supplant Weah as Africa's mainman of Italian football and break his goals record. It happened. Now the 100M dream may not happen again but the other still has a chance of happening. That Afcon title... time will tell. BankyGee: 1 Like |

Osimhen has secured Napoli fans' respect and love for forever. He has earned respect in Serie A. In Turkey, he is a god now. In Africa, well... they(we) know he is the best CF we have on the continent in this era. He stands above all others but he is still not seen in the same breath yet as Eto'o and Drogba. There is still time to change that. Goke7: 1 Like |

Well said Doc! What will stand Osimhen out for future generations of fans is his legacy that will mostly be achieved in European football. Saudi though lucrative won't be challenging for him especially at this stage of his career. I pray a top club that has sense like Galatasaray will give Victor the platform he richly deserves.
