THINK YORUBA FIRST REJECTS SOUTH EAST INTERFERENCE IN LAGOS' GOVERNANCE.

In an audacious, repugnant and provocative move, Gov Hope Uzodinma announced been part of a 't committee' of South East leaders and Government meeting to save properties belonging to their kinsmen from demolition.

Properties owned by many Yorubas have suffered such fate previously without their Governors interfering. Also, Eastern Governors have consistently demolished properties in Gov Uzodinma's region without a word from these disrespectful leaders.

The temerity and bold face to even dare question a Yoruba Governor from enforcing the law to effect genuine development, indicates that they truly view Lagos as a No man's land. How did we get here?

As an institution, we strongly advise Southeast Governors to redirect their attention to making their region comfortable enough for investors and their indigenes. Even accommodating such engagements puts us at risk of handing over a conquered land to our children. We call for the immediate dissolution of the nauseatingly annoying 't committee'.

Is it not even ludicrous that same people projecting Lagos as 'smelling', called on their leaders to stop Lagos from doing the needful for a cleaner state?

The only way to a peaceful country is Mutual respect of boundaries. Gov Uzodinma & his fellow 'journeymen' must be told not only to retreat but to never attempt such in future.

Yours sincerely,
Ogbeni Oluwole

I love how there are now so many pressure groups standing up for the interest of the SW.

This became a necessity after late Pa Adebanjo and Dele Farotimi created a funny faction of Afenifere that people on X now call Ohanifere in a bid to hijack the real Afenifere.

Out of every 12 there must be a judas.
We should at least be thankful to God Almighty that their population (the 'yoruba buts') have reduced exponentially.

Nevertheless, there must still be one 'judases' or 2.

Nonsense group making so much noise.

I'm glad to see the SE governors standing up for their people.

Unlike before, they're usually sleeping ducks.

Everybody's eyes are getting clearer now. At least let Hope Uzodinma do something right for once.

We are discussing the Lagos State government, not the Yoruba regional government. What surprises me is that individuals who have no investment or presence in Lagos State believe they have a say in its affairs simply because they are Yoruba. Ask yourself: has your choice in Lagos matters put food on your table? Be wise and stop holding grudges against yourself.

Gaslighter. This technique don cast.
We are talking about the Yoruba and SW government and not Igbo and SE government. You don't seem Yorubas or other tribes interfering in the governance of Anambra or Abia when demolition is going on in their states.

They still call it a united Nigeria when in actual sense it's disunited Nigeria.

Nigeria were never meant or suppose to be a country.

So that right only applies in other people region?
In this Nigeria, some others are practicing Sharia law in their region.

This is a call for our SE governors to develop the igboland.
If you develop ignorant, our people will come home instead of being subjected to ridicule in other people's lands. For real, Are we the only ones in Nigeria?

That should be a call to the SE governors, HOR, Senators, House of Assembly e.t.c.

When they, the SE politicians show their , then the likes of Nnamdi Kanu won't be seen as a lone wolf and as someone fighting the state (Nigeria).

They can make case for their indigenes with genuine cases especially if they're qualified for compensation but through their liason offices. Creating a committee of Governors as a pressure group is bound to attract serious suspicion and political back lash from their Yoruba hosts.

How many Northern Governors set up committee for houses demolished in Abuja, Kano and Kaduna?

Or even for houses demolished in Enugu, Abia, Imo, Anambra, and Ebonyi.
Those reacting and pushing back have a valid point.

What stops this Yoruba group from coming out openly to seek for an independent Yoruba nation where Yorubas will have all the national and international backing to do whatever they love in their nation?

What this Yoruba group is indirectly saying is that Nigeria is not one and can never be one yet they keep pretending and always at the forefront of attacking anybody that talks about peaceful division of Nigeria.

For how long are we going to continue with this unnecessary fights when we all know that we are not one and can never be? Why can't we simply agree to divide and have a peaceful prosperous future devoid of ethnic attacks and hatred?

Governors set up a committee to make an appeal to their fellow Governors yet these ethnocentric people see everything wrong in it.

God and nature will definitely shame you all, keep basking in your foolishness

Standing up for their people for erecting illegal structures?. How many illegal structures do Soludo, Mba or Uzodima tolerate in their states?
Talking about hypocrisy.

This is not about just the SE, but for all Nigerians to realise that the union of Nigeria is baseless, acrimonious, unproductive and will take nobody no where, and agree that it's time for everyone to go their way

Discussing and planning an attack and downfall of Southeasterners will not boost Lagos State's GDP. The Lagos State Government considers these ràbble-roŭsers, who lack any real connection to the state, a nùisance. We should ask ourselves: are the Igbos not expanding and consolidating their wealth in Lagos State? This financial growth will eventually translate into political capital, which the indigenous Yoruba people may not be able to offer politicians with differing interests.

Those who are crying 'dis-united' nigeria are the main cause of Nigeria's disunity from the beginning till today!

They are not nigerians at heart but will only fly the nigerian flag whenever the narrative suit them.

Dem don use gaslighting and victim mentality finish you people. Are igbos the only tribe in Lagos. How come other tribes whose properties were affected are not saying LASG is after them

When Houses and properties were being demolished in the SE by Mbah, Soludo and Otti recently, nobody came out to say they were going after the contribution of igbos and other non indigene to those states. But else where, people are after the igbos LMAO.

These 'Think Yoruba First' people or whatever they are called should rather channel their energy towards putting enormous pressure on Tinubu, who is their tribesman, to send an executive bill to the National Assembly for the disintegration of the country.

This should be their main focus, right?
