Rufai is trying to deceive Amaechi towards the 2027 race, only to become the flag bear in 2031. 2031 is Rufai's ultimate goal (more reason he was edged out of Tinubu's cabinet), but they have started early, which is wise. It would cost a lot of money to remove Tinubu in 2027. They can't compete financially.
It's okay if Tinubu wins in 2027 but would not be okay with Rufai and Co if Tinubu succeeds in planting a successor, which I also see as an uphill task for the coalition they are building.

And I will also suggest obi should not context in this coming 2027 election because there are chances that jaganah will not do one term and leave because he will surely make sure he completes his 2nd term and after that obi can come in and he will be president. But if obi really want the presidency come 2027 the he has to settle for vice president and then Atiku being president this is the only way to remove tinubu from that sit come 2027 otherwise all efforts will be useless.
